Understand, my last Droid was an LG Revolution, 2 iPhones ago. One of my big gripes about the phone was the old operating system (Gingerbread, when Jelly Bean was new), was never updated. I plan on making the switch back when as I replace my phone and tablet next time (Tablet next March, phone when it dies), due to aggravation about how Apple is doing things. I notice devices on Verizon with Lollipop and Marshmallow (and one kitkat, eek!). Does Android update older devices to the latest edition, or are you stuck with what comes on your device.

Note: I will go with a major brand like Samsung, Motorola, or LG. So I'm not worried about whether Shanghai Bob's Cellphones does this or not.

I had a Galaxy Note 3 for over two years but several weeks ago I was forced to upgrade to a Note 4 due to an app compatibility with new hearing aids. I transferred all my ​accounts, contacts and apps and everything seemed to be fine until I got around to using OK Google. My voice is recognized and Google returns appropriate answers to the screen but no longer speaks any responses. I have spent hours searching the internet for a solution and I believe I literally have tried EVERY solution short of killing all my apps to find a rogue app and doing a factory reset. I am not eager to do that at this point since I understand that the Marshmallow release is "coming soon" (AT&T).
Maybe I should just wait it out and see if a clean install of Marshmallow resolves the problem(?) Honestly, if I knew for certain that a factory reset would fix this I would probably do it anyway. I guess I am just skeptical.

Any confirmation from others with same hardware and carrier that they receive spoken response from OK Google or any thoughts or advice on a course of action would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

PS Google Maps speak directions as normal so I know it is not a speaker/volume issue.

I am using my original charger for my galaxy s6 and computer does not recognize any storage or the phone itself. I cant find anything in the settings for both phone and computer.

Hi, I ran the latest update on my P9 on Friday night which has caused 4g/3g to vanish from my phone. I've checked settings and everything seems to be fine and I've spoken to 3 people at vodafone and none of their suggested fixes have worked.

I can't do upgrade transfer now because my contract isn't over yet. But if I wait until it's over and do it, won't the $20 increase kick in the day after my current contract ends?

The panoramic icon on photos is no longer there. I now have to manually swipe left or right to view a panoramic photo. Any ideas why?

In my ph memory there are no data but why it shows 4gb load out of 11gb? Is app load in internal memory?
