So, the on/off button of my M8 is no longer working.

Does anyone know if this is repairable?

The warranty expired about a month ago, so "repairable" also means "at reasonable cost or DIY).

When posting reviews on the Google Play Store I notice that my full name is being used, instead of a screen name or display name. I find this a huge privacy issue particularly for financial or banking apps as people then known exactly where you bank etc.

How do I post reviews with a screen or display name instead of my full name, without changing my name across my Google Account?

I have a Verizon phone. I never had any trouble with it finding my location or using the GPS until recently. Now, whenever I turn it on, up in the top it has an icon informing me it's endlessly searching for my location. Obviously, since it can't find me, my Google Maps doesn't work. I have five apps on my phone that didn't come with it (ESET mobile security, NOAA Weather Unofficial, Steam, GPS Status and Toolbox, and Adguard), but none of them were installed recently except for the GPS app. I don't keep them running when I'm not using them. I have tried toggling the location switch on and off to no avail. I have tried the GPS Status fixes where you clear the AGPS data, but it doesn't seem to work either. Every once in a while, after some unknown period of time (I barely use my phone and it's usually off but sometimes I leave it on if I expect a phone call and let it sit somewhere), it eventually does find its location, so I'm guessing the hardware is still working. I've read the screws can become loose over time and haven't checked them yet but I have tried applying pressure to the location the GPS should be by lightly squeezing the case and it made no difference.
I'd greatly appreciate any help I can receive. The only reason I bought a smartphone was for the GPS, so I'm pretty unhappy!

Hello everyone. Ive had my 6p since June, and this data dropping issue has been a constant frustration. I have tried changing the Preferred Network Type, turning on/off Cellular Data toggle, verizon stores only replace the SIM card (twice) and still no fix.

i got a samsung galxy s5 mini and since the update it says my device isnt compatible with pokemon go anymore anyone know maybe why this suddenly changed since it played just fine before

I have a major problem - today I was using my phone: normal everyday stuff.
All of the sudden I got an ad on my home screen...

How can I get rid of them? Sometimes they cover the entire screen, sometimes just a small part.

My virus scanners haven't picked anything up and I scoured my files to see if I could find anything containing Spyware or whatever but didn't find anything.

Can someone help me? I don't want to have to do a factory reset atm because I don't have a computer for now.

I have no idea what is going on, but over the past couple of weeks i've noticed that this error will pop up from time to time.

But when it starts to pop up, it just keeps coming up no matter how many times i hit report or ok.
For example, i've gotten it popped up 6 times just writing this little bit of text.

Is anyone else having this issue? I've got an S7 Edge on ATT running build MMB29M.G935AUCU2APG1

So i was using the HTC 10, and I just got the Samsung Galaxy s7 edge and I am loving it. I have always been an avid Samsung user, had basically all the notes and galaxies and also a few tablets. I wanted to try something different but there is no other phone with this bright of a screen (which is a must when I'm walking the streets of Manhattan), or cool features. It's also the best looking phone on the market lol. Was wondering if anyone can recommend any good accessories, cases, etc. Also has anyone noticed battery drainage with Spotify (offline usage) I'm getting about the same battery usage as my HTC 10 and it's 6,000mah larger? Any battery tips are great too!

I can navigate using a mouse but the remote just stopped working. The remote will work on another T95 box. Please send me the file I need to reload the remote. Thanks

My wife and I found a stellar deal (under $400 each) on 2 new-in-box Note 4 International editions (SM-N910C) with the Exynos processor. We actually tried the Note 5's last year when they came out but decide to stick with our iPhone 6's at the time. As time wore on, we started to get the itch to get back to the Note series after nearly a year with Note3's.
Knowing these devices were just upgraded to Marshmallow, we are hopefully not losing out on much with skipping out on the 5 and 7.
Anyone else recently purchase the Note 4? Likes/dislikes? Ours will be delivered tonight! :D

I have actually enjoyed the look of TouchWiz since 5.0 after years of hating it. Nova is just my favorite, most reliable launcher and I like the customization and gestures I can add.

I wanted to recreate the S7e stock launcher with Nova. Call me crazy, but maybe it will help someone who want the same, or is bored with stock android.

Desktop:

•4x4 grid
•Medium width margins
•Large height margins
•120% icons (applied to both display modes)
•Normal font is similar to TouchWiz. I chose Light because I prefer the look.

Dock:

•4 icons
•Apps icon from "Curve S7 Theme" on app store
•Medium width margins
•large height margin
•120% icon size
•Turn single-line OFF for a taller dock
•Same font as Desktop

Folders:

•N Preview style
•120% font
•Same font style as previous two

I use a Flipboard widget to the left of my main home screen.

Widgets should be available without tinkering. You may need to hold the widget and disable padding with these width margins.

My drawer is closer to stock android than TouchWiz. Should be easy for you to Recreate TouchWiz though, if desired.

The issues are in relation to a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, running 4.4.2.
I accidentally let the device go flat (I am aware this is not good for the device). After recharging and restarting the device, the device appeared to have lost a lot of my setup. Any app related to Google has disappeared, and my launcher and home screen setup have reset.

I have removed and readded the Google account, and reset the date and time (they had set themselves to some time in 2012).

Initially, I tried to reinstall Google Play Services and the Google Play Store through he Google Play website, but received the message 'Application will be downloaded shortly.

I then attempted to reinstall Google Play Services and the Google Play Store directly from the APK. They both claim to have installed properly. I am able to open the applications (most times). However, as soon as I try to do anything within the Play Store, it crashes.

I am at a loss as to how to return my tablet to a state even remotely resembling how it was. Is anyone able to help?
