So I bought a microSD card (SanDisk, 32Gb) for my Galaxy Tab A (running Android 5.0.2), and I've been having a LOT of issues.
I saw many people having permission issues, but it doesn't seem to be the problem in my case.
First I noticed that, while coppying some mp4 files from my internal memory to SD card, they just stopped working. They were playing normally, but some of them got corrupted on the transfer. I tried coppying the files both directly through the tablet and through the computer, but I got too many corrupted files on both cases.
I also transfered some cbr (comics) files, and, whenever I try to transfer various files at once, they also get corrupted. It seems a bit better when I transfer one at a time, but then sometimes it also happens (there doesn't seem to be any particular reason, but sometimes it will happen repeatedly for the same file, while sometimes it can be fixed...)
Since SanDisk is a pretty standart brand for pendrives and SD cards, I don't think my card is the problem...
Is there an app or a method to transfer files that might minimize this problem? Have any of you had similar issues with SD cards?

...should read DROPPED frames! It's getting kinda slow around here so I thought I'd see if anyone could tell me if this is a Galaxy S7 glitch or the resolution I was filming in. I took a slo motion video of my grandson running and jumping in the pool. There were several dropped frames...really noticeable droppage :o

I'm looking to buy a note 7 soon. I have always had black phones before except my white S3 I'm looking at the Platinum now wondering I will wish I had gotten black later. Does the metallic finish distract you when using the phone? Thanks for your input.

As the new note came out the feature to use s pen and create a gif of anything was added. Anyone know a method to get the same thing on the note 5? I'm probably asking this too soon.

This is an issue that my mother in law is having. I promised her I would have a think about it but I'm stumped. I should say that my mother in law is in her 70's and is not tech-savvy at all. She uses Facebook to look at family photos etc but has no real idea about the way it works. I should also say that she had taken some steps to rectify her issue that I was not present for and am taking her word for most of what has happened. If you haven't already fallen asleep, hers the issue:

She normally accesses her Facebook account on her ipad application. She states that a few days ago she was asked to log in when she opened the app (possibly after an update?). She entered her email address which is a @hotmail.co.uk address. She states that her password wasn't recognised and that she had to reset it. She did the usual 'forgot password' steps from the app and changed her password. When she logs in for the first time after the password change, she is taken to a profile in her name but has no friends, no photos absolutely nothing except her very basic info.

Upon searching for her profile using the name on Facebook, there appear to be 2 accounts - her older, original account and this other empty account with just very basic info.

I had initially thought that she must have, at some point, accidentally created a new Facebook profile but she is convinced that she hasn't. Now at the login screen her @hotmail.co.uk is her username for this new, empty account and she has no access to the original account. She says that she has never had a different email address and so doesn't now know which email is linked to her original account.

I thought that at some point she must have had a different email address for her original account but having trawled through her @hotmail.co.uk inbox, there are email notifications from her original Facebook account to the hotmail account.

I've been racking my brain and I've got to say that I'm totally stumped.

Apologies for the length of this post but any help would be appreciated.

Hey guys,

So 3 days ago, I moved my DCIM folder to my SD card. When I went to go look through the images and videos, a lot of the files were corrupted. I moved the whole file back to my internal storage,so now there's nothing on the SD card except for the LOST.dir folder. I've tried renaming the extensions of the files in that folder but it still gives the same picture I've posted below.
I've googled a ton of software to recover or repair this, but all need access to my phone as a USB MASS storage device, and it can't do that. Without the mass storage function,none of the software are able to pick up my phone or SD card.

Is there any way around this? I'm really desperate. These were pictured of my deceased daughter and now they all look like this,

Also, I'm really not the tech savvy type, so if there is a way, please explain it in the most simplest terms as possible.

I am setting up a Samsung S4. I was able to set up GMail, which syncs from Google to the phone. However contacts are empty. I added a contact on the phone and it synced to Google. However, the contacts are not syncing from Google to the phone. Any ideas.
