For the last few months, my Galaxy s4 has been acting very strange. None of the google play services would open, and on the few occasions they did, I just kept getting a 'server error. Please retry" message. I tried everything from clearing caches, to uninstalling, then re-installing updates, to clearing accounts. After a while, my speaker stopped working after I disconnected a bluetooth device. When the speaker didn't work, streamed video, gifs, and other media which included audio and/or video would play very choppily. Once again, I scoured the internets looking for a solution, to find none of them working. My device would get stuck in boot loops, and after a while, the speaker would stop just from being left alone. The mic stopped working even later on. But, about 22 hours ago, I started up my phone after a horrid red eye flight, and it went on for a bit, then turned off. It repeated this about six times. Then, I went back onto my phone, and It prompted me for an app update. I updated the app, and it wasn't until I went into said app, and heard audio coming from my phone's speakers, that it occurred to me, that I downloaded this from the play store without an error message. After a brief celebration, I put on some music on my phone. I was jamming out to some Connan Mockasin and browsing the web, when this loud ** BLEEEEP** came out of my phone. The audio stopped playing, and everything froze up. I went back into music, and the app froze when I pressed the play button. "Oh great, Wonderful, it's all screwed up again" I thought. But, It said "Com.System.Andro.Pushsystem (or something like that) has stopped working" And continued playing the music. After this song, the whole phone locked up entirely. It froze, and the screen went black, with only the buttons lit up. I somehow got into my phone, and the Audio once again, would not play. If it makes a difference, I'm rooted, not using a custom rom, and my phone is two years old. I also recently got the AMOLED replaced due to a pressure fracture.
Can anyone please tell me what the hell is going on with my phone?!?!

I have a Samsung S5. When it plays any music or most video files through the headset jack it only plays on the left channel. I can faintly hear sound on the right channel.

Phone calls plays through both channels. Next Radio plays through both channels, but Tune In Radio doesn't. YouTubes only play through one channel as does live streaming of ABC and NBC.. If I record a video using the built in mic or headset mic it only plays back through the left channel ear bud.

I took it to the local Sprint store and they cleaned the jack. I have a new set of ear buds they gave me but it didn;t make a difference. The tech suggested a full software re-load, which I don't really want to do because I would have to re-load a lot of apps I use daily.

Any ideas?

One thing is the 8 will remember the brightness setting when I shut it down and then restart it, but the 9.7 always reverts to full brightness. Would anyone know why?

How do I make my micro SD card my primary storage spot for my phone on my Galaxy on5 for this being such a new phone it should be a very simple thing and it isn't please help

I'm no sure if this is an issue from a recent update but my emails no longer sync automatically. I've checked all the sync settings and they are all on but for some reason it says master sync disabled.
I've looked through all the settings possible and can't work it out. My housemate has the same problem.

Apparently I need to turn on Auto Sync Data under Setting -- Data Usage -- Menu to fix an Email syncing issue but I don't see an icon for menu under data usage.

I desperately need to add new apps but it isn't allowing me to do so because of storage limitation. I don't know by that it means internal 8 gb memory or 32 gb sd card memory. I have moved all installed programs to sd card if i could do so. But there are so many Google and Samsung apps which I do not use. Is there a way to uninstall them? What about WhatsApp data? Can I move the same to SD card? Kindly help me to resolve this problem.

My phone is a Galaxy S4. I'm running Android 4.4.2 so I can keep root alive with Towelroot.
I'm having problems with Business Calendar Pro version 1.4.9.4 and Beautiful Widgets Pro version 5.7.6. The problems seem similar, but they happened months apart.

Business Calendar Pro: I had a 3x3 widget running displaying my Agenda. The widget disappeared two or three months ago.
I went through the standard drill to make a replacement:
- Long-press on the home screen.
- Select Apps and Widgets
- Pick the appropriate Business Calendar Pro widget and drag it back to the home screen.
- Customize the widget by selecting calendars.
- Touch the Save icon.
No widget appeared. I retried these steps to see if I had made an error that I could spot. No luck.
I let this go because it was pretty easy to put an app icon on that screen to display my Agenda on demand.

Beautiful Widgets Pro:
BW was running just fine, displaying a Clock + Weather widget that had been in place for more than a year. Then I let curiosity get the better of me and I booted my phone into Safe Mode. I took a quick look around to see what apps were available there and then I rebooted back to Regular Mode.

Wow! I quickly learned that I had made my phone forget a lot of things that it used to know. Among the casualties was ALL of my widgets had disappeared.
BW still remembered my widgets at this point even if it could not display them.
I uninstalled/reinstalled BW. Of course this wiped out all of my widgets and downloaded themes.
I downloaded some BW clock themes and built a 4X2 CLOCK widget by repeating the standard drill outlined above for Business Calendar. Unfortunately I repeated the results, too - no widget.

What the heck?:
- I can't blame the Safe Mode fiasco because BC disappeared before that.
- Both of the products (BC and BW) will go through their widget building routines without reporting any problems or acting weird, but neither of them produces a visible widget.
- Both of the products will remember widgets they built and will allow editing of the widgets after they're built.
- Other widgets ARE DISPLAYING:
--- Rain Alarm Pro version 4.1.13.
--- Tasker 1X1 task widgets.

I hope that somebody recognizes this weirdness and can help me get my widgets working again.

They just don't generally fit in my ear and I've tried all the different ear buds. The music can be heard by people surrounding me as I've had several people complain that the music is too loud when in reality it isn't. The music is on full volume but I can barely hear it. No, I'm not deaf, I've asked several people to try them and they have the same problems.

If anyone has any idea on how to fix the problems as I don't exactly want to spend £15 o n a good pair of earphones.

Samsung earphones were quite good in the past but these didn't live up to the standard.

So I just bought the 64 GB model of the Z Force directly from Moto. Much to my surprise, I was never given an option to purchase insurance, an extended warranty, etc. The 32 GB model we bought through Verizon had that option. Does Moto/Lenovo not offer such an option? And if so, what exactly ARE my options? I normally don't go in for such things, but with the new Moto Mods and my intention to keep this for longer than usual, I'd like some piece of mind. Thanks.

I use Google to speak my text messages. Now, after I have spoken and the words are being typed, Google search pops up and I cannot finish my text message. When did that start?

I have just it a couple times this past weekend and noticed there is no audio recorded. Is there a way to record audio with it, or is that just a no go?

No pictures, contacts, apps, my entire Google account is "lost in space"!!! With Google, tried accounts/recovery, spoken with techs. on phone, opened new account so Google and I could communicate, literally over 100 times. Can someone please help me? Thank you.

I am switching from Verizon to at&t. What is the best way to transfer data from old phone to new. Old phone is the LG G4 the new phone is Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
