Can't find it anywhere. The number on the battery is FB55. Is there another battery that will work?

Somebody else posted about a case that looked different than all the others I've seen. It had somewhat "open" corners, something I felt a case needed so that it wouldn't push-up on a screen protector. It was this case:

The case is very minimal - very thin. I would have preferred a clear case, like the Ringke I previously had on the phone, but it's black, as is my phone, and rather nice - assuming you like minimal cases.

I got it today along with a nondescript tempered-glass screen protector: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...idcentral00-20. From what I can see, ALL tempered glass screen protectors are the same - with limited adhesive, top and bottom only. The problem with these is that the adhesive doesn't hold for long. So, I dabbed a tiny amount of clear silicone seal on the four corners and installed the screen protector. The touch is very nice. I suspect the problem most people have with the touch sensitivity of the tempered glass screen protectors is due to the adhesive giving way creating a space between the protector and the phone screen - hopefully the silicone seal will help with that.

I then installed the case. The case does NOT touch the screen protector.

I would guess that this case would work well with any screen protector.

I need to use my maps app as a navigation device and battery saver mode doesn't work

I've read the other thread on a similar issue to mine, but nothing in that thread helped so thought I'd start a new one to see if anyone can shed any light.

I've got a galaxy tab s 10.5 running lollipop and up until a month ago all was fine. I had a change in my work shift and didn't use it until today.

Turned it on this afternoon, noticed that the wifi was taking ages to connect, so clicked it off, nothing.

Waited for a few minutes and the wifi turned off, then I clicked it on, nothing.

Waited for another few minutes and it turned off automatically by itself.

So I rebooted the tablet and tried again.

No luck.

Went on to my laptop and did a little research and came to the thread I mentioned above, tried a few things and nothing worked.

Found out BT wouldn't work either.

I'm now at a stand still as nothing I've tried has worked. I've read about sidesync but can't disable it as the button is just greyed out. I've rebooted into safe mode, rebooted into system and deleted cache etc etc.

Nothings worked.

So here I am asking for hayelp!

My Venue 8 7840 wont update. I keep getting the an Android update notification (that is supposed to fix stagefright, etc.). After starting the update it ends with the tipped over Android with the exclamation mark. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? BTW I did a factory reset and the issue still exists.

Important to me is how long I can play a game before battery saver turns on, usually 15% left.

My LG G4 lasted a good 3 hours. Has anyone tested the S7e by gaming that long? How long until it hits 15% or dies ?

I am trying to set my Galaxy S7 so that when I receive a message in the Verizon Message+ app, the screen wakes and displays a notification (preferably with contact name but no message content). I have tried changing several app and phone notification settings with no success.

Anyone else having this issue?

I want to convert my HTC 10 WWE unlocked edition to HTC 10 Unlocked Edition USA version to get faster updates.

My question is, if i convert then can i use swedish language in the phone?

It goes on and off but nothing on my screen tv, I see ANDROID when I boot it but then it goes black and nothing happens.

Can you help me please, it was working perfect a few weeks ago.

i accidentally transferred all my pictures to my sd card on my galaxy s7
and i'd like to transfer them back but I don't know if they would be back in their previous albums or not

Just wondering if anyone is currently using (and is happy with) any particular battery saving apps on their S7 Edge? In my past experience (with other phones), I've found most of them to be useless. Just want to know if anyone is using anything that has actually shown significant improvement in their battery life.

Guys I have the Galaxy s7 since June and just noticed a vertical line on the far left of the screen that appears only on full zoom, is almost invisible but if you search for it, I think you see it. I tried to screenshot it, but only appears on the screen.. Anyone else noticed it?

Any recommendations for an old android phone?

I am trying to run all the stock Samsung apps and I'm mainly pleased so far but today I got my tracking number for my 256gb card. I tried clicking the tracking number and got taken to the call screen. No worries. I'm used to that from my iPhone. Then I long pressed the number and it did nothing. Wouldn't even give me the option to do anything else. Opened the gmail app and tried again and the long press brought up the options I expected from my Samsung email app.
Here's my dilemma: I like the simple look of the Samsung mail app better but I want features like what the gmail app offers. It's there an option to tweak the Samsung app or will I have to just live with the gmail app to get the features I want?
