Does it affect it tremendously?

I was trying to move my pictures from my Galaxy S6 to a USB stick thru my PC (USB connected) using Windows File Explorer. The "Camera" folder on the phone was renamed in error (thanks, kitten on keyboard), and I did a 'folder rename undo' not realizing what had happened. Now all my pics in that folder are gone !!!

I have found some of the pics using ES File Explorer, and have searched for the folder, but I think it was deleted by File Explorer. It is NOT on the PC either.

I assume the pics are still on the internal memory somewhere but hidden.

Any suggestions ? Even trusted software to use ?

I own a Verizon Note 7. Moved up from a Nexus 6. Thus far, I am happy with the new Note.

I need guidance. When I try and post a photo onto Facebook from the Gallery, Facebook freezes. On my old Nexus, photos were culled from Google Photos with zero difficulty.

Am I doing something wrong?

Any advice will be deeply appreciated.

On my HD8 I have MySword app files that are listed when I go to Local Storage (Docs) yet some of these files are not shown when I connect the Fire to my PC and open Win File Explorer. (Fire>Internal storage>MySword>Journals for example) Can anyone explain?

Debating between iPhone 7/7 plus or GS7 or Note 7. What to do? I am unimpressed with what Apple may be coming out with, but I had an S7 unlocked international version on AT&T that kept dropping texts (otherwise I wouldn't be having the debate) and I wonder if the Note would be better or if I should try the US unlocked version of the S7? Android is not very integrated as iOS for my other devices (Apple TV, and my iPad Pro, wife and most family's iPhones.), but I can adjust. Any feedback from people that work out of both platforms? Which phone is better? Should I just stay with iPhone? I'm not sure where to go.

Curious if anyone ordered online this past week and what the time frame was in getting shipping updates. We are now almost 2 weeks past the release date and just curious if the turnaround time is quicker now.

Device: Sony Xperia M4 E2303 on Stock Marshmallow (Rooted).
My calls are always on speakerphone, doesn't matter if the speakerphone button is on or not, I don't believe this is a hardware problem even though my screen was replaced a few days ago, I mean how could it possibly be. I can't be the only one with this problem. I'm running stock so I don't believe it is a software problem either, I have tried rebooting and clearing cache so far.

I am with Rogers. I am told my phone is dead due to water damage. I'm told negotiate with Rogers to offer me a new phone for a discount. I am not interested, I want a new phone, end of story. I know that everyone says their phone hasn't been in water, but mine really hasn't, it just simply has never even been near water. Can the phone malfunction to show water damage falsely? it is 11 months old.

School have given us a webcal address for a school calender but it is for Apple devices. Want to syncronize the calender to my android device

I deleted a note and also emptied the bin few weeks ago and I'm just wondering if it's possible to restore at all?

It displays a message when emptying the bin saying "All notes in recycle bin will be permanently deleted" so is that it? Once it's gone it's gone....

I feel like there might be a way???

Any help or clarification would be great.

Nevermind if there's not a way... I only wanted to restore them so that I could instead mark them as 'Done' within the Google Inbox app and keep them there for reference if I ever needed them....

There is way too many other OEMs making Android phones and the Nexus phones are the standard of excellence now.

Sure Google has the right to call it what they want, but the name Nexus is synonymous with pure Android, bloat free.. even though that isn't 100% true.

I've always considered it to be a developers phone from the gitgo and have always admired how easy it is to modify the os or anything else on them. If they are wanting to become more mainstream and find a larger audience that's fine but if they turn this line into a cesspool of bloat and adverts then it's not worth owning IMHO.

My vote is no.. Continue to refine the os and the hardware, but continue being the only bloat free devices that are fully capable of being rooted and unlocked bootloaders....
