I was reading about ChromeOS, its android apps support, but I'm not really sold on that. Google Pixel 2 is a great... chromebook, but it's still a chromebook. I can't stop thinking that dumping ChromeOS for Android development will be way better - latest android-enabled notebooks? Why not.
Google Play Store could have additional category, like "Pro Apps", with apps like Lightroom (real Lightroom, not castrated version that's currently on Google Play), and other full-size Adobe apps (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), AutoCAD, etc.
Take this + full synchronization between all devices.
If I could have a 13 inch all-aluminium unibody laptop, weighting a little over a kilo, it's battery lasting 6 hours of running heavy apps and 12 hours of web surfing / video playbacks, that would rock latest android capable of running full versions of some "pro" desktop apps, I'd never look at Macbooks again.

P.S I know they will add Play Store on ChromeOS, but it's still ChromeOS, more unified system would be better, because I am 100% sure ChromeOS will never get close to MacOS and its development will be slow and lazy, but Android development gets better and better. Dump ChromeOS and put all its resources in Android!

A couple days ago my battery started draining very quickly and it has something to do with Google Play Service I believe. My phone gets really hot even when I'm not using it like something is constantly eating all my resources. The battery drains in about 4 or 5 hours when the phone should be idling. In battery usage Google Player Service takes up around 30 percent and Android System 25 percent.

I've tried reinstalling the Google Play Service, turning off location, fit/motion tracking as well some email syncs though I don't have a lot. I've also turned off all automatic backups. Kind of out of things to try apart from doing a factory reset which will be a huge pain. Anyone run into this problem and find any fixes?

I had an accident on Aug 26th and took a lot of pictures. Today I needed to upload them for insurance claim. I went into Camera in Gallery but only a few (my vehicle) that I had taken the following day were there. So I looked in My Files in Images folder and I found some other pictures from that night (his car, none of the ones in Gallery). But not all of the many pictures I took. I emailed those to myself. Then I went back to do the same with the pictures (my car) that I found in Gallery, but they weren't there anymore. The ones that had been in my Images folder (his car) were there in Gallery now. I went back to Images folder to see if they (my car) were there but they weren't. I have 'show hidden files' checked. I haven't been able to sync anything to Dropbox since March of last year. I don't know if any of my other pictures are missing; of course only these very important ones I need. Android 5.0

My girlfriend made this unique soundtrack for the game and me did the coding part and such things. In the game you have to face the bad guys that stole the wizard stone from King Bonez. You play as Trisha an little mage with magic boots and magic staff. I have my Google contact list that includes all contacts, phone and email only. I would like to have only contacts that have phone numbers. I was able to do this on my previous S4 but can't seem to get it on the S7. I tried using the settings under contacts and used phone as selection for Contacts to display but it still shows all my email contacts that don't have a phone number.

Two weeks ago I traded in my deadly Note 7 for a S7E. I like the S7E a lot. But, after having Notes back to the Note 2 I found out that I was lying when I said I didn't use the stylus. That and my RAM is down to 9gb after only two weeks. Turns out that I need the stylus and 64gb of RAM.

I have nothing bad to say about the S7E except that it's not for me. I enjoyed my time with the device.

I have a quick sell Bluetooth model mod. What I don't understand is phone calls and media comes through the Bluetooth device. What doesn't are all the notifications they still are coming through the phone how do you correct this

I put my sim card in says no sim card??

My front camera has this black bar It the bottom of the screen It's about an inch thick and when I turn my phone to the side It's still there just on the side of the screen and it makes my pictures come out weird.

Does anyone know how to remove the speed dial option? The phone dial app has SPEED DIAL-RECENT CALLS-CONTACTS, I would like speed dial option gone.

I returned my note 7 today to a local verizon store. upon completing the process i am asked for charger, head phones, and USB adapter. i quicky reply, "no". I speak to manager and tell him that this a strict "return phone program" he goes on to say that i might be charged for the phone entirely. I stepped out of the store and immediately called customer service. They go onto tell me that i am not forced to return anything but the phone. I don't know what game verizon is playing but no one has to return accessories. simply tell them you do not have them. it is none of their business what someone does or doesn't decide to do with there purchases.

Whenever I try to use the store 3 seconds after it oper it says "unfortunately, google play store has stopped." Not only that, but I was playing a game until it said, "you need to delete 1mb of applications to continue playing" or something like that, I have plenty of space on my tablet, way more than it needed, plz help

No audible beeps after saying OK GOOGLE. I only can here them through plugged in headphones. Samsung Galaxy 4 phone. Please fix Google!
