I had a Pleson screen protector (horrible!) and now the Illumi Aquashield (much better).
Both are TPU protectors, so they are somewhat soft - although the Illum is less so.
Using the Stylus on a TPU film is a little like writing on thick Saran wrap - the Stylus creates lines in the protector, and it gets stuck a bit.

Short of buying tempered glass - which I don't like for other reasons - have any of you found a protector that provides a harder surface that works well with the Stylus?

I have gotten to the page where it says "Restoring" . It has been restoring for 2 hours now. How long does it usually take to get through that cycle, so that I can go forward & transfer everything from my old phone to the new one?

Newbie here. I have been downloading games from the Google Play store since I got my tablet four years ago and never had a problem. Now I cannot download all the great new candy and jewel games without getting that message when I try to open the game. They do download onto the tablet but do not open. I read something about tegra 2 and neon and unity but I am not attuned into this stuff. I just want my games. I did also read that now android does not comply with Unity 5. So what does this mean? Must I buy an IPAD to use the Apple store (very expensive to buy ipad)? How can Google Play continue to thrive if androids cannot download their games?
I am willing to purchase another tablet but don't know if all adroids will cause the same issue.

Just so mad about this - how can google play do this to everyone????

this morning it was working fine then i restarted my phone and then it stop charging nothing is working i plug the same usb into my ds4 and wireless charger and they are working just fine so how do fix this problem? or do i need to get this repair?

The box for my unlocked BLU Advance 4.0L (A010U model) smartphone says it has GSM 850/900/1800/1900 frequencies, and therefore should work in Europe. Firstly, can anyone confirm that the manufacturing information is correct? Secondly, can anyone tell me, in general terms, if European service providers are continuing their 900/1800 mhz cover, or abandoning these in favour of other frequencies offering 3 and 4G service?
All i need when travelling in Europe - using a local SIM card - is basic voice service + text, not data. Should my BLU phone work and be adequate for this purpose? Many thanks. All information gratefully received.

I set it up to unlock with the fingerprint, but the majority of the time it seems to ask me for my PIN and doesn't let me use my finger. Any idea why that might be or what setting I have set wrong?

I use Ringtone Maker to make personal ringtones from my music library on Google Music. Everytime I delete a song from the ringtone app, it also deletes it from my library. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

I have a GS5 with a 64 GB SSD SanDisk Ultra Plus card. Earlier today I was transferring audio books from my Windows 10 PC via USB 3 port as I have done numerous times in the past. Now when I restart my phone I get a message the the SD card is not supported on this device. Is this a SD Card issue or does my phone have an issue.

When I first got the GS5 I purchased the SD Card and it has been working without issue until now.

My HTC One 7 seems to lose charge really quick...I like pretty much everything else about it except maybe the quality of the camera is lacking compared to the latest and greatest phones, but can live with it....Are there any options for improving the battery life and also, I have a car charger cable from Amazon that seems to be VERY slow to charge the phone...does anyone have a recommendation for the fastest cable money can buy for the vehicle? OK so my phone got a little wet at the top, i think some water went in through the headphone jack. The water is only at the top of the phone it did not seem to reach the battery. So i left my phone to dry, a little more than 24 hours. So when i went to turn it on nothing happend...no lights no display, no vibration. i took out the battery and put it back in, then tried to charge it but i just got a red flashing light. What do i do?!!!!

OK so I'm pretty new to this phone but I keep accidently touching my screen while it's locked and the edge panel appears (Black screen, time on panel, date, weather etc)

What do I keep pressing/touching/doing for this to appear so I can bring it up when I want?

So I downloaded this on my SG7E and it was flawless. Loved it. I did it because this was my loader until my non exploding N7 arrived.

It did. Immediately I downloaded the Pixel launcher APK again. Then loaded everything on it.

Once again. FLAWLESS. It's best I've used so far.

About 2 hours later I went to swipe up to get an app and I was stunned. No apps listed. Thought it was due to new phone. So I restarted and no dice. Launcher still there and all my stuff on the main screens that I had set up but no apps. Nothing.

I deleted and downloaded again. No dice. It downloaded but no apps.

I'm completely dumbfounded as to what happened.

I have photos attached to my gmail contacts. The photos show up in two ways in my Galaxy S7: in a small round window at the lower left of the contact entry, and in a larger version which fills the top half of the screen. The tiny window photo is clear, but small. The larger photo is a blur and cannot be expanded, tapped on, or looked at in a clear, enlarged version. In my previous phone (Motorola Turbo) tapping on the larger photo expanded it so that you could see the photo more clearly.

Anyone understand what I mean here?

How many people will need get replacements in order for this to happen? Will it ever happen?!
