Setting the phone to ring OR vibrate is easy. What doesn't appear to be possible is to have the phone ring AND vibrate for phone calls or messages. Notice that the key word here is AND.

Hello. Just wondering if there is a way to bluetooth voice dial without using data. Both S-Voice and Google require data to do any voice dialing. I didn't have this problem before, but since the update of the Google app, I need data on to be able to do hands-free calling.

Anyone know what I need to do to allow longer text to be sent as 1 text?

I'm presuming that the 1/x button in the calculator is the reciprocal function.
If I type 2 1/x = then I get 0.5 ... so far, so good.

Now I want to take the reciprocal of 649/35
I type 649/35 and press = ... and get a number around 18.54
If I now press the reciprocal button, it just appends x1÷ to the number. If I then press = it says "Invalid format used"

If I type 649/35 then 1/x all I get is 649/35x1÷ and nothing happens. If I press = then I get the same "Invalid format used" message.

So is there an easy way to find the reciprocal of a result (of a prior calculation) ?

Samsung Galaxy S4 16 gb with a 16 gb SD card. My photos and music go to the SD card, but my phone is constantly filling up and I have to delete apps to make room for new ones. I've moved some apps to the SD card, but that's a fair bit of aggravation and the app updates seem to go back to the phone. Is there some sort of setting that will cause new apps (and their associated data) to load on the SD card and stay there? Thanks!

When browsing on Google Chrome on my S7, I no longer have an arrow to go back a page. I do still have the forward arrow in the Chrome menu but it doesn't do anything. How do i get my "back a page" arrow back on my Google Chrome pages?

So, I picked up a new Note7 last Thursday (a week ago) and my battery has been unbelievably bad. I've had around 2 hours screen on time almost every day. I contacted Samsung support and they keep telling me to shut off features, etc. I didn't buy a $900 phone to have to handicap it to get through the day on a battery charge.

At this point I'm considering switch to another phone altogether but I guess I'm here wondering if folks have any sage words before I do something drastic. I've run package disabler to shut down bloat, but only just recently. Battery seems a little better, but it's 2:30pm here and I'm down to 65% battery, which seems terrible for a 3000mah battery and only 1hour and 20 minutes screen on time. At this rate I'll get about 2.5 hours SCT.

Thoughts?

Basically like in the title..

I have the s7 edge tmobile version (32GB).. running nova and i do have quite a few things installed.

I typically use Gsam to monitor drain.. i'm seeing anywhere from 15-25% drain with just the screen on (and/or browsing facebook, the web, emails), which seems ridiculous to me.

I've tried disabling things in package disabler to no avail.

Its hard to pinpoint a culprit using gsam.. i also try using the wakelock detector app but i'm not rooted so its not much use. (not wanting to root, because i hear you have to jump through hoops to make certain things work and also may have more battery drain).

Conversly.. Typically when i view the phone after its been off, ill see 3-5% while its turned off per hour.. in one hour the phone might wake up 25% of that time, say 15 minutes maybe 20.. this is on a good day.

I just got a case that has a window just like Samsung's Sview case but much cheaper and with a magnetic closure.

Any way to enable the functionality of the window? I know that there's a chip or something in the OEM case, but there has you be another way. I looked in the Google play store for an app, but no luck.

My gmail account is available on my user, but it also shows up on the Guest user screen. I do not want my email account available to the Guest user.
