How do I permanently delete text messages from my s7 so that they can never be recovered?

I have a Moto Z Force Droid phone by Verizon Wireless and I have been having contact problems in regards to contacts that have changed names on My Messenger plus app. As well as in my contacts app. When I go to the contact that has a wrong name associated with the number and go to edit the name it shows the original correct name that it should be but when I back out of editing it shows the altered name as the contact I don't know what to do I have found that on some contacts I can delete a letter from the name and retype it in and save it and then when I back out of editing it shows the correct name. My latest encounter with the with the contacts getting changed is that now the number is still correct but when I go to edit the name it shows as it appears on the contact with the wrong name I have backups of my contacts on both Verizon Cloud and Google that way I have a secondary backup in case either goes down. I believe there may be a problem with keeping both a backup on Verizon cloud and Google but I don't know how to fix it without messing up my contacts since not all my contacts are in either my backups between Verizon cloud and Google. Can someone please explain to me what I need to do to fix the situation so that my contacts stay as I had entered them in my phone.

In this case, it's an iPhone6 to Android, Samsung6 and another one is a Samsung 7. It's happening with 2 of my contacts but no one else. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Wireless charging used to be high on my priority list. At one time I had an Iphone and got a device that was thin and fit inside the leather case I had and I could charge it. My Galaxy S7 Edge had wireless charging and I liked it a lot. But it was not a deal breaker. So now I plug my HTC 10 in and I'll plug my Pixel in when I get it. The Quick Charge feature works great. If I measured the time I take to plug it in, vs putting in on the charger, it might vary a half a second.

I am unable to swipe right to unlock my phone as it takes several attempts, however when I first had the phone I used to swipe up to unlock which worked every time. I must have changed it without realising so would like to know how to change it back please.

Yesterday, I decide to uptade my tablet to Android 6.0.1, but it never stop downloading it. Somebody can help me?

I am missing the RSS edge feed panel. It's not even listed under downloads. I had a S7 Edge before and it was there. What is going on ??

Hello, I try to send an image from Facebook to messenger. However, I get a pop up that says ERROR sorry, messenger was unable to process file. Does anyone know what this is and how can I fix it . Please.

Ringer status: Vibrate and Sound on

Phone vibrates, and the ring tone plays. Only way to answer phone is to open phone app, but you cannot hit the Circle to return to home screen if you're in another app (it doesn't work/freezes). If you have home screen available, you can tap the phone app, which will then prompt you to return to the phonecall in progress, which will then display the normal incoming call screen and allow you to pickup the call.

Please advise as to a fix.

I've been having issues with the USB cables staying in the port. The slightest movement will cause the charge to stop. Sometimes I have to hold the micro USB cable in an exact position to get the TurboCharging to activate. I was going to send the phone in for repair then I remembered I had the screen replaced by a third party when I dropped it back in April. Does having the third party perform a repair void the manufacturer's warranty?

Since the charging issue has come up I've also been experiencing significantly worse battery life (about 2.5hrs SOT). I was hoping to get a whole new phone through the warranty program.

Some messages that are long he receives in Japanese language, it's not every message mostly longer ones and some medium length messages, I don't know why

What had lead to this dismal situation that Samsung is facing with the Note 7?

I personally lean towards the stupidity angle.

I have owned other Samsung products. TVs, refrigerators, and of course phones.

I started with the Note 2 and upgraded each year when the new models come out.

After this fiasco with the Note 7, I have lost all confidence and respect for Samsung.

I stopped buying their refrigerators because of problems on a brand new refrigerator that I had which was under warranty or was four months old and took a year to resolve.

Now this whole thing with the phones. Now I have to go into a VZW store again, less than a month after spending nearly 4 hours waiting for them to figure out how to process my replacement.

Samsung has not done right by its customers.

Between how they have handled a defective phone the various law suits that they have been found at fault in, how can we trust this company? I don't think that I can.

Looking to pick up a 5x or 6p on Glyde or eBay. I see Glyde has a few for sale as "unlocked", but they also have some listed as sprint, T-mobile or AT&T. I assume these are just what the seller put in as their own networks, and they aren't really locked to those networks? I don't remember last year's Nexii being carrier specific, but wanted to make sure. I know that Sprint had some Nexus 5 units that were locked to the carrier, so I wanted to be careful.

Returned the Note 7 09/24/2016 at Sprint for full refund. Associate in the store said the amount should appear back on my card in 2-3 business days. It's been 2+weeks now, called Sprint and they now say it should appear within 30 business days. Anyone return the device and see the refund on their card sooner than 2 weeks?
