I ordered a Pixel 128 GB the other day that should be delivered to me at the end of November (maybe...) The reason I stayed away from the XL is because I always thought those bigger screens were just not for me. Then today I was in Best Buy and played around with a Note 5 they had there and realized, I kind of like the bigger screen. Now I am wondering if I should get the XL instead, but with the price, I can only afford the 32 GB version. Thus my question, is it better to get the Pixel at 128 GB or the XL at 32 GB.

I don't really keep a lot of apps on my phone, nor pictures though with the free cloud storage I guess the picture thing doesn't matter too much. Also, I know the Pixel XL is so out of stock that when you try to get one you just get put on a wait list, but that doesn't bother me since my phone now works just fine. I do want this phone to last for the next two years at least and am wondering if the GB really matter in that regard. Thanks for any help/ advice you guys can give me!

Can't access anything in my files storage. I deleted S-mote after update, coz can't figure out how to use it; no help or instructions. Do I need a word processing app?

So I just got my XL, jumping from a Microsoft 950XL. I love the camera but there is one thing that annoys me. I have to change to 16:9 manually when taking a horizontal image. I'm used to the camera changing mode automatically when switching from horizontal to vertical. Am I being picky?

Is this rooted?

I want to backup everything on my phone, particularly the settings of the various applications. I figured out there are ways to do it, with or without root (Helium backup for instance). My phone is not rooted (Doogee x5 pro).

I wonder however:
In case I loose the phone, or it brakes or whatever.
And I than buy a new one, a totally different model (which likely will be the case)

Can i still restore the apps and the setting of the apps?
The hardware will be more or less different than the hardware of the originally backed up phone.
The version of Android may be different, possibly even a different generation.

Will these different conditions still allow restoring apps and apps data successfully?

Friend has S6. Her mail account is set as IMAP on GoDaddy. On the phone mail is set to not delete from the server when downloaded. Recently the mail on the phone is not deleting when it gets deleted from the server via Outlook on her PC. This used to work fine a few weeks ago.

Is there a setting on the phone that forces retention?

If you are not a fan of the google chrome browser or you just want a browser that can do everything that the samsung browser does especially if you had samsung devices in the past like myself and you prefer additional features...try this browser out on the LG v20...I love it and its great and not limited like the google chrome browser.....

I use both chrome and this browser on a daily basis...depends on my needs....

one anoying thing is when I have the motomod(came free with the phone!) speaker on sitting on my desk and I do the hand jester to show the clock with the black backround, its not rotated. Is there any way to get it to rotate?
