Think I've found what's causing this issue. I've seen where there are not many answers. It's google. When ever my mother says google around her phone it starts recording

So I have an Android Head Unit for my car and it has 5.1.1 on it. I rooted it with KingRoot and disabled Launcher after installing Apex Launcher.

The issue I have is that no matter what I do I can't add any widgets! I hold the screen select widgets and select any widget then i drag it to an empty screen and it pops up telling me that by adding this widget Apex will have access to its content or something like that. There is a checkbox and I select it and hit ok but nothing happens. I try and don't select the checbox and nothing happens. Even tried to use Nova and Atom Launcher but exactly the same issue there too. I even moved these from data to system but still nothing.

Please somebody help me out I am pulling my hair out with this one. Just can't figure it out.

Has anyone (besides me) tried enabling file level encryption (vs. block level encryption, the default)?If so, have you noticed any differences in performance or battery life?

Wife has a G4 Play and Facebook doesn't seem to rotate when holding in landscape.

My Z play rotates just fine so assuming it's a limitation of the G4/G4 play

Can anyone confirm if they can run Facebook in landscape and which G4 version you have

I see it quite often on the forum. People bashing other phones. I feel as if they fail to realize that what they like and need out of a phone is not what another person will like or need out of a phone. LG, Google, HTC, Samsung, etc. all make great devices. When it comes down to it, my wants in an Android phone is as close to pure Android as possible. Another person may enjoy the removable battery and expandable SD that the LG offers. Another person may enjoy Samsungs screen and TouchWiz. The beauty of having so many options is that someone is able to find what works for them and then run with it. For me personally, Google nailed it with the Pixel. A few features are missing but overall it is what works for me. Hopefully some people can understand what I have said! Enjoy reading about the features people find, and enjoy, from every different phone manufacturer! 😀 (Gosh the Pixel emojis suck 😂)

Hello I have a Galaxy S5 on Verizon, and I wanted to know if I needed to get a new digitizer if the screen is cracked but the phone still powers on with a black screen. I can use the OK Google command (sometimes) and the LED buttons at the bottom still light up white, the phone charges fine and it still vibrates when powering it on, what do you guys think of this?

I just found the problem solver for lack of SD card. Also found it on Ebay at a great price. It is by Dash micro SD reader and it will fit into your phone even with a case. It's very tiny and when not using can be put on your Keychain because it comes with its own case. You simply insert your SD card and can use for photos music.
Using with our Note5 will help me out a great deal. And even if I don't use a lot knowing I have this is a great extra. Can't beat it for 15.98

I'm thinking of dumping my Nexus 6 for the newer Moto G4 Plus, mainly because I miss the Moto display.. I realize it's a downgrade in areas (build quality, updates, and screen size), but an upgrade in others (4gb of ram, fingerprint sensor, micro SD slot).. A 64gb version is under $300.

Can anyone here compare the performance of the two? Is the screen acceptable to you? Is speed ok? Camera ok?

I am seriously considering getting the v20 but i have some questions. I'll start with most important one for me. I got the lg g4 last year and returned it. The reason was because of text to speech settings. Huh? I'm a blind person who uses talkback the screenreader on android. Stock android has 9 speeds for tts. The g4 only had 5 and the max one i could put it on was turtle slow. My question, on the v20 how are speech rate settings? My understanding is in stock 7.0 tts speech rate is a slider and not a combo box anymore? If on the v20 not a slider to set speech rate, what tts speech rates are there? Other questions, thought this phone was available in 3 colors titanium, silver and pink. Do pink and silver actually exist and is sprint selling them? How bad is the ammount of bloatware from sprint on the v20? Finally, are camera's really cracking? How has sprint been if you've tried to exchange the phone??

I clicked on my game, and my phone froze. I have a kyocera hydro view. I tried to go to home and a lock with an ! exclamation point inside popped up. I can't unlock the screen, and so I can't shut off the phone. I can't take the battery out. I couldn't even answer an incoming call. What do i do?
