Got a Pixel XL yesterday. It now tells me it is offline in a part of town where that is very unlikely. Could I have something set wrong? I suppose there could be a problem with Verizon, but also seems unlikely.

Hey guys, I have a verizon galaxy s6 edge plus on 6.0.1 marshmallow. I have been fighting battery the whole time I owned this phone. I recently saw some other Edge +'s getting around 5 hours of SOT when I barely manage 2. do I have a defective phone possibly?

I've been through two devices since my first S7 Edge broke. With my original device, pictures were not an issue (same location, etc.). With replacement device #1, images taken face down (think, a document or depositing a check) had odd bars or lines of shadows on them that weren't occurring in real life. When I wanted to attach an image from my gallery to facebook messenger, it took a long time for my images to load.

Now, I have replacement device #2 and am having the same problem. Tech Coach has no answers for me. I can't keep spending the time to troubleshoot and backup/reinstall everything again. Do any of you have any ideas?

Have been running the beta version of 7.1.1 and I have to say the results are pretty spectacular. Besides a few tweaks and updates, the operating system has really smoothed out some of the issues I was having with the phone. Thankfully the camera is much much better. Not only is it quicker and more responsive, it doesn't crash anymore.

Google needs to move it out of beta and push it out as a regular update.

Context: I am "upgrading" from a Moto G 3rd edition that is about a year old. It launches apps snappily but sometimes lags during games like Fallout Shelter, Hearthstone, or Madden Mobile.

This week I got a new Moto X Pure. What a great phone, I love everything about it except one thing. It is so. Slow. Opening an app will sometimes take 5-10 seconds, and not even a big or 3D app. I'm talking about things like the CBS Sports app or Facebook messenger. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to speed it up? Is my phone defective? Like I said, I'm still inside a week with this phone so I'm sure I can send it back for a replacement but I did have to cut down my SIM so I would be without a phone for the duration of the exchange so I wanted to see if there was something I could do to fix it.

I've noticed a marked improvement in phone call quality with 7.1.1 and bluetooth phone calls also seem to work much better. Has anyone else noticed the difference?

Did it ever get updated to support more 3rd party apps and do more than you could 7 months ago or no one cared about it and has been forgotten?
I'm having a hard time to make up my mind and choose between the S7 and S7E, and knowing if the edge feature really is that useless as people say would help me out.

It seems the topic of USB connectivity has been beaten to death almost everywhere but I can't find anything that works.

I have a Verizon LG G3 running Android 6.0. Developer Options are ON, USB Debugging activated and USB configuration set to MTP. I have tried multiple USB cables including the cable that was supplied with the phone and multiple USB ports on the computer. I've also tried it with a different computer with the same result.

If I power off and restart the phone and plug in the USB cable the phone vibrates and I get a BRIEF USB notification icon on the left side of the notification bar. After about 1/2 sec. that USB notification icon disappears. After that, plugging in the USB cable has absolutely no effect - no vibration, no icon, no reaction at all.

I'm about at my wits end and have run out of things to try. Any ideas? :confused:

Even if I have the phone and screen open, I don't see whos calling and I cant answer the call. The ringer works letting me know there's a call coming in, but I cant see it or answer it. I've tried to reboot, took the phone to the Verizon store, no one knows why this is happening
