Hey all, I just want to say the new wallpaper App from Google is awesome. Stunning images and it really made me do a double take on my HTC 10's screen. It really highlights the capabilities of the 10's screen. Makes it feel like a fresh phone.

Maybe I just always had boring wallpapers

Without a doubt, the Pixel and Pixel XL is a well designed and manufactured device. Made by Google, (with the tremendous help from HTC) the Pixel isn't the best looking device, but it has certainly grown on some. Is it safe to say that this is the signature Pixel look for the next few years?

Would you say its likely that Google would only implement minor, if any, changes to the look next year? Just as the iPhone has a distinctive look that has remained, I think that Google wants a Pixel to be recognizable without turning it on. IMO, the glass back near the top is here for a while and the bevels will remain.

I see that on the newer Android versions there is an option to remove the PIN requirement to decrypt a device and only enter the PIN to unlock the screen when encryption is in place (thereby allowing remote connection via an MDM tool). Does anyone know if this is possible for older encrypted Android devices?

Anyone not using one? How has the screen held up so far?
What do you use to clean it with? I used alcohol wipes on my old phones before...

I took my phone to Metro PCS outlet from where I purchased and asked an employee to help or show me how to organize my pictures of various sorts and place them on my SD card. Three are now in Gallery under two names, several under My Files in the SD card, with others (some duplicates under "Drive" (whether in internal memory or SC card, I do not know).

Is there not a simple way to rearrange all of these files (pics) on my SC under different sub titles like folders on the hard drive of a PC?

Your step by step of how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.

Hey all, still enjoying my Pixel but I have a couple of questions that I'm hoping you know the answers to:

1. Is there a way to sort the default "photos" app in such a way that the default text messaging app does not simply show -every single photo- your phone and Drive account have? I have several albums made but when I go to attach something I just get a mass of every photo available.

2. Is there a way to change the default "swipe" behavior on messaging from archiving to deleting? I don't want to archive my text messages, I just want to delete them. I'd like to be able to do so without having to long-hold and then select the trash can icon.

I am LG G5 running: 6.0.1. I had issues with this on vacation in another country. I would keep airplane mode on to avoid any sort of background roaming fees that may occur. However, I still needed wifi at our accomadation so I could use the internet for planning. While in airplane mode certain wifi networks would not appear while in airplane mode. I could see other wifi networks while in airplane mode, but not the accomadation's wifi in airplane mode. I have an apple iPhone 4 I use for music still and I could see the wifi network while in airplane mode. Eventually for no reason the network became visible for connection and I was able to connect to wifi in airplane mode. However, it would occassionally dissappear again.

(Wifi was turned on, phone reset, factory reset performed, issue replicated on two different androids LG G5 and Nexus 5).

Does anyone know why Android 6.0.1 is unable to locate and connect to certain wifi networks while in airplane mode?

Apps should have button and when ever you press the button we should et popup with inserting numbers and once you given the number and submit Co ordinates should recorded in the mobile and the END of if should be able to export the same as excel file.

Hi I have very weird problem, when I connect to PC via USB I get two partitions Internal storage (or adopted depending which one is primary) and external storage, when I open external storage there is nothing not even the folders but when open internal storage there is a files from external partition and internal merged there is folder from internal and external memory, also there is folder called 'storage' with sub-folder 'emulated' with sub-folder '0' I don't get it what gone wrong? One more thing when I paste something in internal partition it goes there the same happens with external partition? I tried clearing cache, clearing data and cache for Media storage an External storage, please help!

I keep getting the green robot which is on his back with a triangle and ! in the center. After looking at the error message it is showing error in cache, status 7. I have cleared the cache 3 times and have also done a factory reset of the phone and still will not work. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Ever sense setting up my Pixel I've had issues with the legacy Google Voice app stealing visual voicemail messages from Hangouts. Also on this phone Voice app won't display the yellow banner "opted into hangouts".

The outgoing caller ID changing to my GV # does work though.

All worked on my 6P. Super frustrating, I'm losing messages.
