Posted: 08 Nov 2016 02:07 PM PST I know Google Photos includes unlimited high quality photos, does this mean that I can upload unlimited photos from my desktop as well and not just my android device? Another question is about suggestions - in Google Photos when I click on the share icon I get a list of suggestions that includes people that are not on my contact list or frequently contacted list. How can I get rid of these suggestions? |
HTC 10 - Black Friday Discount Posted: 08 Nov 2016 02:07 PM PST For being a Team HTC Member, I just received an email from HTC regarding early access to Black Friday deals with one of them being $200 off the HTC bringing it down to $500. Has anybody else received this email? If not, for those seeking to buy an HTC it seems this will be one of the Black Friday deals this year! |

Posted: 08 Nov 2016 01:49 PM PST It seems that the OnePlus 3T is confirmed... https://twitter.com/oneplus/status/796049807609622528 Its going to have a Snapdragon 821 clocked at 2.35GHz unlike the one on the Google Pixels. Its also rumored to have a bigger battery, a better camera, and water resistance... Unless its actually a tablet instead of a phone... |

LG V20 - 1 Megapixel RAW (DNG) Photos Problem Posted: 08 Nov 2016 01:45 PM PST My LG V20, for some reason, is saving JPEG's correctly, but saving RAW (DNG) photos at 1 Megapixel, 1164 x 873, but at 22MB. It has great(er) Dynamic Range, but the photos are, well, 1MP. Really, unusually blurry. I spoke with LG Tech Support, and he was able to replicate the problem on his LG V20, stating that he would try to escalate the problem. (He also suggested that I turn off the "Save as RAW" feature.) I LOVE shooting in RAW, it's one of the many reasons I purchased the phone (on credit, of course). If you have any suggestions, or if you are able to replicate the problem on your LG V20, please, PLEASE let me know. Hopefully LG is listening. It is their Flagship. Thanks, Brian. |
Galaxy s7 text messages not typing correctly Posted: 08 Nov 2016 01:39 PM PST Hi, I'm recently having an issue with my galaxy s7. When I type in the text message box characters are being adding automatically or being entered incorrectly. for example, if I attempt to Type 49.9% instead i will get 49..9, it adds an extra . Often as well if I'm tying and press a letter a different one that I pressed appears. For example, I can hit a "P" and a "t" appears instead. Or, I'm typing Sept 7th and I get ssep 7 instead. I don't know why this is happening. Thanks. |
Battery draining fast, need help Posted: 08 Nov 2016 01:37 PM PST I have a samsung galaxy s4 which is draining extremely fast. I have recently read that It could be due to having an sd card connected to the phone, is this really the case/possible? I have already gone through all the apps and made sure that there is no unneeded drainage. I have also gone to the Samsung store but they just gave me a new battery and the problem persisted. Should I: -get a different sd -take out the sd -etc |

Get Motorola's Active Display Features on Your Pixel or Nexus Posted: 08 Nov 2016 01:28 PM PST This article just hit my Google Now page. Wondering if anybody has given it a try. I am thinking I will download at some point. I would love to have the display be a little more active, my only concern is poor programming leading to battery drain. The article goes through making sure the you have the right settings, and getting the app Ambi-Turner. No root is needed. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...biturner&hl=en How to Get Motorola's Active Display Features on Your Pixel or Nexus « Android Gadget Hacks |
