My lg g4 won't load my extended battery, saying it is invalid. Is there any way to get around that? Posted: 11 Nov 2016 01:35 PM PST I ordered a Deep Stretch extended battery for my lg g4 and after aquiring the battery and equipping it the phone says the battery is invalid and shuts off. Is there any way to negate this? And if so how? |
Phone connects to the wrong number when calling a specific contact?! Posted: 11 Nov 2016 01:20 PM PST I have a Moto G4. Basically, when trying to phone my parents' house phone (landline number) it connects to my mum's mobile instead, even though it shows the landline number on the call screen and recent contacts. This happens even when I manually dial the number instead of going through contacts. My mum left her mobile at my apartment, which has run out of battery, so now when trying to call home, I receive a Tesco Mobile voicemail message. I imagine this is a glitch and has something to do with contact details for my mum including the house phone somewhere. Only thing is, it doesn't show the house phone under my mum in contacts, only her mobile. Likewise contact for "Home" just lists the landline number. I've tried deleting the contacts and it still happens. Any ideas how to solve this? It's really annoying because I can't get through to my mum since she left her mobile at my place! |
Unused device showing as accessing account Posted: 11 Nov 2016 01:05 PM PST I had to log back in on my computer and drive as they'd somehow become logged out. After reviewing my account devices it's seems my account is reporting an unused device (previous Android mobile) is syncing with my account. I have revoked trusted devices, and changed my password but it's still showing as connecting. Strangely my current mobile and other devices haven't yet told me my password is out of date and needs to be re-entered which is rather worrying. There's no option to remove or revoke this device. How can I force all devices to have to log back in with the new password to ensure security of my account? How can I remove/block this rogue device? Why has a change in password not kicked all devices and apps from my account? I have 2 step verification switched on for my account, and the rogue device was previously connected after confirming a 2step app generated time based code. |

WiFi cycles off and on every few seconds all by itself Posted: 11 Nov 2016 12:56 PM PST Hey guys, anyone had their WiFi on a Note 4 (T-Mobile SM-N910T Android 6.0.1) just automatically cycle off and on every few seconds without you doing anything? Rebooting seems to make it stop, and the wifi ends up off. How do I fix this? Factory reset? Thanks, |
Posted: 11 Nov 2016 12:56 PM PST My Nexus 5 said my photos are being uploaded to a public folder. I did not request this. How do I stop it doing so. I can find no valid answer to this on line |

Posted: 11 Nov 2016 12:41 PM PST Greetings all, guess this will be my new hangout, have been a life long Blackberry user but finally got fed-up to the point of no return and made the switch (both my wife and I) to Android. Just started using a Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge about a week ago. So now I guess I'll be hanging out here rather than Crackberry.com RIck |

Do you use your phone's FM Radio? Posted: 11 Nov 2016 12:25 PM PST I have learned that the S7 and S7 Edge come with a built-in FM radio, allowing you to listen to a conventional over-the-airwaves FM radio without using any of your data. The caveat here is that some carriers block this feature, others allow it. Does Verizon allow you to use the FM Radio feature on your phone? Does Sprint allow you to use the FM Radio feature on your phone? |
