I have new phone and when I go to put apps on it says there is a screen overlay on how do I get this off?
It said to go to settings and then apps. But there is no overlay.

I live in New Zealand and plan on purchasing the Google Pixel direct from the Google Store once it is released here.
My questions are:
A) Has there been any update on when the Pixel will be released to more countries?
B) Will the (unlocked) Pixel work on European carriers when I plan on travelling this winter?
C) What would you suggest as the best option for a calling and data plan if I am spending time in France and Italy? More data the better.
I know these are simple questions, but I appreciate your help.

So seeing that the pixel doesn't have an SD card slot, and all pics and videos are stored in the cloud, can someone tell me how secure my pics and videos will be when there stored in the Google cloud?? Thanx

For some reason the Google Play app disappeared and I can't figure out how to restore it. Like it's just an empty space where the app used to be on my home screen. Is there a way to restore this?

i tried to install a small app, it is probably only about 2 mb, but before i tried to install it, google play store told me that my tablet is full, i need to free maybe over 250 mb. before that, i already uninstalled probably over 100 mb apps already.

what is the reason for this?

I am planning to buy a laptop/tablet (2 in 1) device which is available in Android & Windows 10. However, the Android version is with 100 Euro cheaper. That is why I am wondering if it is possible to buy the cheaper version and after that to install Windows 10 manually?

Hey I have my LG v20 on Verizon, and where I live I used to have to go up to the second floor to get a signal to call or text on PagePlus. So once I switched I got the LG V20 (Which I love btw) and Verizon has the wifi calling/texting. But, I absolutely despise their Verizon messages app and was wondering if the Textra app is able to use the Wifi Texting feature just like Verizon Messages.

I've just taken delivery of an Acer R11, after doing extensive research on which Chromebook to buy. After a happy two hours setting it up and playing around, I finally settled down to my bread-and-butter purpose for the machine, which is writing in google docs. Hit full screen to go distraction free and... wait... there's distraction! I could cry. White lines at the edge of the screen denoting open tabs and programs. Sure they are small but I am a very visual person and they jump right out at me - especially when one occasionally 'shimmers' to indicate a page loading or some other activity.

Is there a way to get a 'true' distraction-free full screen experience on a Chromebook?
