I have almost 300 contacts on Galaxy S5 (verizon). Did factory reset and set up everything again (google, verizon, samsung). Restored contacts from verizon cloud. Google set to sync everything. Auto sync on - selected sync now and I get an indication of sync. When I log on to google via desktop, no contacts are found. I'm getting ready to switch carriers and need this to sync with new carrier since I won't be able to use verizon cloud.

I search in setting, Language and input, but I don't find it.

Does anyone know what todays update is?

So adups was on this doogee x5 max pro.
I thought I got rid of it all by rooting and deleting the apk's.
First thing this morning I get Sophos telling me com.adups.patch was a low trusted app, and my droidwall all of a sudden wanted me to create a rule for it.
Where the frig did this come from, I did not download it from the play store, so is there still something deep in my phone which is allowing downloads from the adups company, the company that had the 'send all my details back to a server in China' apk that everyone talked about a week back.
Unfortunately I have uninstalled this from the settings/apps, cos I was still half asleep, but what the hell was it and how did it get onto my phone.
I have Droidwall limiting everything but apps. Not really droidwall but I cannot remember exact name of firewall app.
Also posted on xda security forum but no-one is answering.

I just purchased the LG V10 with my new carrier (T-Mobile). A couple days ago, the microphone option disappeared from my keyboard.

I have spent at least 4 days searching on the internet to find solutions including activating Google search, checking keyboard/layout options, switching keyboards - you name it, I've done it. I can't find where it went.

I read somewhere that the new update may have caused it to evaporate and I honestly don't remember if it was there before/after the last update I installed. I'm currently running Marshmallow 6.0 (haven't received the 6.0.1 update yet).

Help! Please! I really, really need this feature ASAP for work.

like when you look at the call app or the text app you can see how many unread calls or texts you have?

Somehow I've disabled the option to have random images on the lock screen only and can't for the life of me find where to turn it back on?
I've found the bit where to randomly change the home screen wallpaper but not the lock screen?

Also, live wallpapers? I see I can download a load of them for the lock screen. Can I ask, what;s the difference between a normal and live wallpaper?

Whilst I'm at it, as I'm on a roll here :) On the lock screen when you swipe up there are options for the stock music player but I use Google Music so can these options be removed at all?

Is everyone wearing their S3 at night? I've worn other wearables at night for sleep tracking, but with this i was wondering about the AOD annoying me as well as knocking the bezel and turning the screen on in the night.

My shirt cuff has knocked the bezel lots today so I'm thinking this will be worse at night.

YouTube volume doesn't work on my Huawei phone. Please help me.

I was excited to get removable battery back into a flagship phone. I was coming from a Nexus6P (still one of my all time favorites) so did not have that option.

The problem I'm running into is the same thing I ran into with my Galaxy S5--i love rugged cases. Right now I'm rocking an otterbox on my LGV20. However, it is simply too big of a pain in the butt to swap the batteries out. Not only that but I feel like I'm wearing out my case.

Are there any rugged cases (i guess 1 piece) that allow easy swapping of battery? I also like keeping my phone on my hip so i guess im going to have to accept that the belt clip holsters are a no-go.

What do you all think?

I am in search of the app that can calculate my ETA and interact with my friends when we go somewhere.

I changed from an apple iPhone to an Lg android keeping the same phone number. However I keep receiving text messages from other I phone users on my old iPhone. They do not go to my new android. Any suggestions?
