Hey so does anyone else have this weird issue when sending SMS messages over Hangouts with voice on Android Auto?

I can send a message okay using voice, and my contact will receive the message fine. But after I unplug my phone and leave my car, the messages I sent with Android Auto are not in the chat log. I can see the ones I've received, and the one's I have send by typing prior to entering my car. But all messages sent by Android Auto are simply nowhere to be found on the phone.

This is on a 2016 Chevy Spark with my Galaxy S7 Edge.

I just bought a ZTE axon 7 for the audio. Its incredible. But verizon wint allow the ZTE phones. No problem. I just switched to project fi. Excellent

I'll try and spare a long history. I started with Android on the original Droid. Because I'm on the phone all day, it simply wasn't reliable and I switched to an iPhone 4 and have been in the Apple ecosystem ever since. I'm fully engulfed in the ecosystem.

I bought the V20 on launch day and I want to love this phone. It's fantastic and the features, ease of use of Android, managing calls, etc is everything I want in a phone. iOS 10 drove me away.

My problem is that this thing is fast and smooth at random times, then lags and stutters the rest of the day. I can't find a single process monitor that works with Android N to where I can see the individual processes, but I can see that my RAM usage is high and CPU will stay around 50% for very long periods of time.

I'm not running anything out of the ordinary. Using Nova launcher and a normal suite of apps. I haven't tried a restore yet but will if there's hope.

I'm sure this is more of an "Android" question than specific to the V20, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problem on the V20 or has suggestions.

Truth be told, I've ordered an iPhone 7 Plus and it was delivered yesterday. I'm debating on if I should return it and am giving it a last ditch effort to see if anyone has experienced the same thing.

Since i flashed a custom rom on my Phone,it changed, I cant use some of the apps because it keeps Crashing (exp. Snapchat,Spotify and ETC.) Please help.

Was in Verizon looking at the Pixel phones and wanted to compare the network signal strength to my Droid Turbo. I looked through the Pixel settings menus but couldn't find where to check the actual network signal strength.

On my Droid Turbo it is: Settings > More > Cellular Networks > Network Type and Strength

Where do I find it on Pixel?

A quick question. There are multiple posts about trying to connect multiple devices via bluetooth but havn't found any about issues with the "calls" portion of the pairing.

When I am at home, my Nexus5 (latest OTA firmware, non rooted) will pair with my home wireless phones via BT so I leave my N5 on the charger and if a call comes in, all the wireless phones in the house will ring. In itself, that is fine.

The issue is when I add the car to the mix. The car also has BT and can handle calls. As I leave home, the car will pair audio/media but since the home wireless phones are still connected (as they are still in range), the car will not handle calls. As I drive away, the home phones are out of range but the car still won't have taken over for calls. I have to re-pair manually (cycle BT off/on).

The same will happen as I drive back home, before shutting off the car, the home wireless phones will attempt to pair but won't as my N5 is still paired to the car. Then again I will need to cycle BT off/on to force a reconnect for it to work.

Any solutions to this issue?

Anything any of you guys recommend adjusting. I have read the UI is not very good. So far I don't mind it at all, my only thing that annoys me is the constant keypad on the lock screen. Is there a way to change that with out downloading a lock screen app?

So far my favorite thing is the gestures for the finger print scanner.

From having a mot and the displayed fixed but battery seems to drain fast now I'm using. Anyone ÷help?

My stock browser reset itself this morning and I had around 6 tabs open that I needed to save

I haven't visited most of these tabs in a little while, and the history only gives you the option to search the last 7 days

Is there any way to retrieve the history older than 7 days?
