phones both black one tmobile

i am trying to configure a VPN on my Android (v5.0) phone. i can successfully create the VPN via SETTINGS | MORE NETWORKS | VPN | BASIC VPN, and all works fine. i can connect and disconnect as needed. however, if at some point i disable the screen lock on my phone, the VPN is deleted and in order to use it i have to re-create it from scratch.

this makes no sense to me. why should the use of a VPN be dependent on having screen lock enabled? and more importantly, why is my VPN configuration being deleted when i happen to turn screen lock off?

is there anyway around this? am i doing something wrong????

I've set the sound keys a dozen times and for what reason they don't hold the position I placed them I don't know.

I thought setting them locks them

It also happens when I turn the phone off

I've had the phone for a year and have had trouble for six months with it not ringing right away or never ringing and going to voicemail. I have no idea on my signal strength as I do not realize I've missed a call until long after the fact. However I have tried calling it from another phone while I had a good signal and have had it never ring. I chatted with a Sprint tech who had me reprogram the MDN and MSID which worked but then it started happening again. I have 10GB free on the phone and I have uninstalled any apps I do not need and sent many others to the SD card. I installed Truecaller about two months ago and I've wondered if it could cause this problem... although it happened before the install. I'm considering wiping it altogether and starting from scratch. Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm looking into purchasing the 10.5" Galaxy S Tab, but want to be sure it is compatible with my phone first. I have the Galaxy S6 edge. Also, can it be used on wifi only, or do you have to have a data plan to use it? It is being purchased used from someone who got it from Verizon.

So when Samsung says they are the first to support the Vulkan APIs, do they mean it's the same with the Exynos 8 octa as well? I was reading a blog on the Qualcomm website, and they mention that Adreno 530 is the first GPU to support these APIs, but support will arrive for the Adreno 4xx as well.

Now I'm wondering:
1. Will the Galaxy S6 range not get this support in future?
2. Once Qualcomm starts support for the 4xx series, will this need to be built into the OS to take advantage of?
3. The SD 810, whatever the heating issues or not, is still an excellent mobile gaming SoC. Will the OEMs and Google abandon the hardware of 2015?

Sorry I clearly don't understand how this all works. Any light on the matter would be very helpful.

My battery is a 7000 wah battery, and one lasts about 2 1/2 hours when watching movies before I have to plug it in. I understand Samsung also made a 8220 wah battery because of complaints. My question is how much more time could I expect if I upgraded?

My Galaxy s6 (international version unlocked) display is black. The phone itself is working normally but the display is not showing anything. I even tried to press the power+volume up/down but nothing happened. The phone was never dropped. It happened on a cold morning. Sometimes when I pressed a button the screen would just flicker. It's been like this for over a week and the phone screen is still black even when a put it somewhere warm. Do you think the black display had anything to do with the environment being cold? Thanks.

why cant I move pictures from my phone to my laptop

i accidently saved over a word document i was working on on my android tablet. The microsoft word online edition seems to have limited controls to revert to previously saved document, there doesnt seem to be an option in the file tab to open an older version. can anyone help

I lost all my apps on my Samsung smart tv in the bedroom, but they are still on the one in the living room. I have been trying all morning to restore these apps and ran across HTC sync manager. I thought I read that I could link the two tv's using this software, but now that I'm in it, it appears it's just for linking phones to tv's. Was downloading this software a mistake?
