Posted: 14 Dec 2016 01:32 PM PST Just installed the full skin today. Ends don't exactly line up and you can feel the sharp edges. Wish there was more grip but I guess it will do for now. If you plan on doing this I would order extra top and bottom pieces because I don't think they will last long with wear and tear. |
Does mobizen not work with Lollipop (Android 5.0?) Posted: 14 Dec 2016 01:29 PM PST Hey! Is anybody here using mobizen with Lollipop? Before when using Kitkat 4.4 I could use mobizen mirroring to control my android from my PC. Now after upgrading to Lollipop it only allows me to see the android screen on my pc, not control it. Does anyone know if Mobizen mirroring doesnt support Lollipop? Thanks! |
How to ensure that I am using the Wi-fi, instead of cellular Posted: 14 Dec 2016 01:28 PM PST New to Android. Got S7 Edge, Added Chromecast, Sling. When at home (or anywhere), and I want to use the Wi-Fi (so as to not use up my data plan), how do I ensure that I am using the Wi-Fi, and not my data plan. What ensures that my phone will use the Wi-Fi. If it detects that it has access to Wi-Fi, does it just automatically use it? |
Gmail App unable to sign in to Yahoo mail Posted: 14 Dec 2016 01:28 PM PST Hello everyone: Since last evening, my Nexus 6P has been alerting every 15 min that Gmail app cannot sign in to retrieve my Yahoo email. I have gone through the steps that appear when I sign in, namely granting Gmail permission to log into Yahoo mail, and I get in, but then a little while later, it notifies again! Does anyone know if there is currently a glitch causing this? Thanks. |
Posted: 14 Dec 2016 01:27 PM PST Um, stupid question...how does one set up Pixel speed dial entries? I'm searching and the dialer is awful. There's no way they dumped speed dials, is there? |

Posted: 14 Dec 2016 01:19 PM PST Looking for some opinions please. I've had the origins Turbo for almost two years and it's been the best phone I've had. My upgrade date is coming and I'm looking at both the Turbo 2 and Z Play since they are now the same price ($99 on contract). My wife just got the Z Play a month or so ago and loves it but she's not a power user like me. I set the phone up for her and it seemed pretty nice but maybe doesn't feel as well built as my Turbo. So do I get a more powerful year old phone or a new model with maybe a little better future compatibility? Thanks in advance! |
Posted: 14 Dec 2016 01:17 PM PST Has anyone else experimented with using Google Cardboard with their Z Play? I'm finding a few issues that I never experienced with my Nexus 5. Firstly the viewer seems to work perfectly for the tutorials within the standard cardboard app, however I get a case of 'double vision' when I try to use YouTube VR or similar. Second, I can't get Cardboard Camera to process my panoramas - it lets me get right the way through spinning round 360 degrees, then the processing progress bar always stops at about a third of the way and the app tells me the photo 'could not be processed'. |
Posted: 14 Dec 2016 01:15 PM PST Just got my Galaxy S7 Edge yesterday and noticed that the AOD is very dim to the point I can hardly see it. I use the calendar. |

Why is my battery draining so fast? Posted: 14 Dec 2016 01:10 PM PST If my battery is full in the morning, it's dead by noon and it dies already at 40%. When it dies at 40% and I turn it on, it's 1%... I have to charge my phone 3 times a day. Would buying a new battery help or should I send my phone back to the provider to fix it (I still have my warranty)? Thank you J.D |

You don't Realize how much you Love it until it's gone? Posted: 14 Dec 2016 01:01 PM PST Wind...meant Freedom Mobile up here has a great promotion on the LG V20 and since its not offered by my carrier I decided to try it. Love the G4 (don't know what happened with G5) but this reminds me a lot of it. Canada never got the V10 so this is my first take on it and I am so glad I did but... The network is an issue, they said LTE will be available soon but take today where I work out at GoodLife, it's located downstairs in the mall and I get a Roaming notification?!? Anyways it's an amazing device, never realized how much I missed the IR Blaster so much. The build quality is very premium and of course the Secondary Display up top. I use Nova Prime and hide the notification bar and having it gives a cleaner more useful look. I haven't tried it but can't wait to here the HiDef Audio DAC! Great job LG! |
Verizon finally giving Samsung edge as temp Posted: 14 Dec 2016 12:59 PM PST Looks like Verizon finally realized many waiting on note 7 to send back due to pixel xl not being shipped yet.. They setup a Samsung edge temp unit until pixel ships. Kinda pointless but something for now. |
