Android newb here. I bought a Samsung J3v6 about 4 months ago and I'm just starting to learn how to use/tweak it. I'm pretty new to smartphones and the only experience I have was with a Palm Treo 700wx about 7-8 years ago. Anyways, I am interested in using my phone at the gym, taking pics, etc and I do online Forex trading with the MT4 mobile app. So, again, hello everyone here at A.C. !

I was talking on my Samsung so and the screen turned off. I could use S voice to call and thought it was salvage able. Now will not turn on ect. Any ideas of what is wrong or how to get data off

Most emails are sent OK but some stay in outbox with Network Failure indicated. If I hit Edit button I then have Send option and away it goes. Ruled out FIOS router as my wife's S5 never does this. Happens with other routers as well.

Hello all , I have rooted my phone , installed nugat 7 on my galaxy s4 as well installed twrp. I can see my apps on my sd card, but cannot see anything on my internal storage.
Where did all my other apps go . chrome , facebook, messanger etc... do I need to re-install these apps ?
I can make calls as well as send text messages. Do I use twrp to install new apps ?

I thinks it s very cool ,but am a bit lost right now .

Anyone else think or realize just how unique the Honor 8 really is? It's the little details like one I just realized as I normally use a paid version app for my weather. Well the Honor 8's weather app is every bit just as good if not better than my paid version plus it's cool bc it plays a sound. Even down to the sound of rain if raining is out. Then there is the font size adjustment within a text by pinching or pull apart your fingers. Smaller or larger. I absolutely don't understand why I've read so many who dislike this software interface experience. It's not much of a learning curve and I personally think it's refined to a better experience than pure stock Android. Anyone else feel that way too? I'm about to place an order for a Moto Z Play as my second phone but I'm still highly considering ordering the Pearl Honor 8 in a 64g instead. I just wish they offered the honor 8 in two versions. 5.2 and a 5.5 or 5.7. I like for my second phone to be larger than my daily go to phone which is my black Honor 8. I'm not sure how EMUI 5.0 is as I haven't found anywhere that will allow me to download the beta version but if they have made it way more pure Android then I'm definitely staying on 4.1. I think this software is one of the best comparing to Apple iOS too out there.

I have an issue with the weather widget that comes with the device. I can't make the widget go from Centigrade to Fahrenheit. I adjusted it in the settings of the device, changed it from C to F but that did not fix the issue. I also tried to delete the widget but it would not let me delete it.

Android Version: 5.1.1

If anyone has any advice about how to fix this issue that would be great.

I let battery drain down to 11% before laying on fast charging pad. It said it would take 2 hours and 11 minutes to full charge,
but it took 3:35, almost an additional 90 minutes. Is this normal? I've only had the phone less than a week, and this was the
first time I drained it down so low. It's also not lasting long on a charge. I hardly used it and it drained to 11% in less than 2 days.
Is battery life supposed to improve after a few cycles? I am still within 2 week period where I can return it to Costco for another one.
My Note5 battery lasted much longer than this larger one. Makes no sense.

Why is my andriod galaxy tab A using a red "X" over the charging lightning symbol

So I recently acquired a pair of BYTECH universal wireless earbuds (active sport), which connect via bluetooth, and am attempting to get them to work with my HTC Desire 626. I doubt it's a problem with the earbuds themselves as they work perfectly with my tablet. However, my phone doesn't appear to like them. It recognizes the device and connects, and the earbuds make an annoying dinging noise when they connect, but I can't get the audio from things like my stock music app or youtube to actually play through them when connected to my phone. Instead it plays from the upper speaker, as if on a phone call, and uses the phone call volume setting instead of the music/media volume setting (which I wouldn't even mind if it would play the audio through the earbuds instead of the phone speakers, which aren't very good). I can't find an answer for this anywhere OR a way to troubleshoot it. Ideas?
