So I have a black charger that says "LG" on it, and it works for my phone (Samsung LG Stylo 2). Recently it broke, and my phone died. So I'm trying to charge my phone with other Samsung chargers (I've tried at least 4 chargers. Not working). I also can't return/replace my phone because I broke the screen. So why isn't my phone charging with the other Samsung chargers, but when I used my black one that just broke it worked?

On my s5, whenever the alarm rang and the media volume was up, it used to tell me the time, which was very useful whilst snoozing. I cannot figure out if this still exists on s7 and what to search on the internet to try and figure it out.

I was at the track the one day and I had the app counting steps and letting me put in Laps. I cannot for the life of me figure out where that part is now. I can't find the lap counter. Help please

So I have been using the Honor 8 for quite a while now. Love it as I'm sure you may have seen my many posts here about it or to help others on it especially my love for EMUI 4.1 interface. Late yesterday I received an email from Android Central that I had won an Honor 5X! I had no idea that there was an incentive program where I was actually chosen twice to win the 5X. Has anyone here ever owned the 5X before? Should I use my free 5X as a back up or actually switch devices? I've read some pretty good reviews on it but am I 100 percent correct to say that the Honor 8 is far superior to the 5X? I'm totally honored to be honored lol with such a nice free gift from Android Central. I had no idea they kept up with all of our posts and information to enable one to win such a nice free gift. I'll be getting the 5X, Dr Strange Kit and a selfie stick that will arrive in a few days. Was curious of you guys thoughts between these two devices. Would it be with me reactivating my second phone number for the 5X? I actually had been in search of a device with a screen size of 5.5 to 5.7 ironically when I got word that I won this device. I'm super stoked but definitely want to get your thoughts of what I should do with my free gift?

Can anyone help a UK user please, I've been trying to find a solution to this problem for weeks now.

I am looking for an app that will backup selected files and/or directories automatically from local storage to Google Drive or Dropbox once a day at a set time. There are plenty of apps out there that back up SMS, contacts, calendar etc but very few that backup actual locally stored files. I've tried both "Backup Free : Save Your Files" and EasyBackup but neither work properly. Backup Free schedules correctly but does not always back up files that have been changed and EasyBackup stops working after a few days and needs to be re run to ensure that scheduler works properly.

I hear you say why don't you use Google Drive to store the files, the issue is I work underground a lot of the time and don't have a signal to do the upload/download, enabling the "Available Offline" toggle doesn't always re upload the file if it is changed locally and if changed via the web interface it does not re push it to the device.

Can anyone recommend a reliable app to backup files once a day to cloud?

I recently switched from Window Mobile to Android. Just got my Mate 9 yesterday and downloaded all the Microsoft apps. For some reason, after I typed my username and pressed enter it took me to a blank page. All the Microsoft apps seemed to behave the same way. Any suggestion?

"Exchange needs to place and manage calls and required access to your contacts, SD card, calendar and events to provide services to you. Please enable these permissions." I cannot find where to do this and it pops up around twice a minute. I've looked in setting and I can't find exchange anywhere, how do I stop this happening?

Just a quick question for all the G5 owners.
Just got the update to Nougat and my new Quick Cover case, the same day.
Since the case requires the Always on display, I've just enabled it and moved on. I was pretty happy with it disabled, to be honest...

What I've noticed is that the display is very bright with the case closed. I mean... At night, when going to bed, I can clearly see the screen being lit and with its very well defined contour through the case.

If I double tap the Always on display, it dims down to an acceptable level, but only for a couple of seconds. It then turn back bright.

If I just lock the phone with the case open, the Aod will quickly go to the low brightness mode and stay that way.

Anyone else seen this behaviour?
As I can read on other posts, this didn't seem to occur before Nougat.

Each phone manufacturer has a stock file Explorer and Web browser installed. Why don't they have a stock app locker as well?

I recently purchased a 128GB SanDisk microSD card as my 64GB card was almost full. I copied all of the files from the 64GB card onto a computer, then onto the 128GB card, and put the card into the phone. Everything showed up fine, and was accessible/playable.

A couple of hours later I tried to play some music from an album on the card, and I got a message "Couldn't find the track you requested". All the albums/ pictures on the SD card did not show up in Play Music/Gallery (they had previously). Looking in 'My Files' shows a blank SD card, but when I put the card into the laptop, everything is still there. I put the card back into the phone, and the outcome was the same; everything is there, then I come back to it later and it's gone. Any files I move to the SD card from the phone while the card is working are lost too.

I have tried formatting the card on the phone, then transferring everything over afterwards, but this yields the same result. I had a similar issue with the 64GB card, though I can't remember the specifics. I think someone suggested that I use a formatting program, but I can't remember which one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

I have a verizon plan where I can get smartphones at a reduced price. I'm very interested in the pixel and seeing what google will do with this and their future smartphones. The Galaxy s7 is about $120 with this plan. How much is the pixel at that rate?
