Ive sent my S7 away to samsung in the hopes they would repair my firmware issue under warranty. Long story short samsung have a terrible warranty policy and I am no longer covered.

Anyway once my phone returns to me unrepaired (samsung want £92 to fix it) I was wondering if its possible to install it myself.

Ive done a bit of research and I know I need to install Odin and Im not sure which firmware I need (it is SM- G930F and the network is 3UK).

Im not an expert on these things so Im wondering if anyone has a detailed beginners guide for removing the firmware the reinstalling the correct version.

I have android phone I did factory reset and i don't know my backup email or backup phone number how do I get my phone to work again

My acer z320 smartphone 5.1 android keeps saying authenticating problem when i try to connect to the internet

so bummed. never had this happen. my S7Edge fell off my lap onto floor. display is totally shatterred. so much for Gorilla glass. called a few places ubreakifix etc. and will be about $400 to replace. called Verizon and Samsung - no help. anyone have this happen and any suggesstions? or i am just screwed

I got a data usage limit notification, I wanted to change data limit, but limit line (that you slide to change limit) disappeared! Please Help! I can't remove this limit notification! Android 4.4.2

When I have a missed call I am seeing a new notification popup at the bottom 1/4 of my screen. I also see it about every morning with any.do.

i have an S7 Edge. i don't know what it's called but when you turn the display off and it's black and has the time and date there. also battery %. i used to have a message icon under the battery % if i had a text waiting. there was some update about month ago, now that icon doesn't show up anymore. can't see how to get it back. it was helpful letting me know i had a text. thanks

Left the apartment with a fully charged Samsung S7 edge in my backpack. Twenty minutes later I opened it to find my battery at 83%. Battery usage in settings showed Digits at the top of the list. Done with my short test of T-Mobiles Digits as it seems it's not ready for prime time. Hopefully, T-Mobile will let us know when they fix it. If I hadn't looked at my phone for half the day, which is normal for me, the thing would have been stone dead.

T-Mobile sent a Android System Update to me last night. The update size was 583 MB, or more than a quarter of my monthly mobile data plan. Very annoying!
How do I set the Download Manager so it only does downloads when I am connected to Wi-Fi?
I have already set various apps to not sync or do background processes using mobile data. I cannot find how to prevent system updates from eating up my meager data allowance.
