Is there an app that can prevent you from losing your phone? I know that there are apps that tell you that you've already lost your phone, but they only work when you lose Bluetooth connectivity (when you're 30-50 ft away). Then it is extremely hard to find your phone. I'm talking about an app for android wear that can notify you that your phone is more than 3-5 ft away. Then, it would be much easier to find your phone. Does an app like this exist?

I have no more space for apps, and would like to be able to use the flashlight built into the phone. I've looked up many, many videos on the subject, but none have been helpful thus far.

Just this past week my signal has dropped. I can get it in different areas but is still not as strong as it should be. Got new sims card didn't help just had it upgraded to marshmellow after this happened. No one at T mobile knows, have had it for 2 years an has been fine till now.

I purchased an 11pin MHL adaptor yesterday then found out when I got home and trying I need a 5pin. I exchanged it but am still having the same problem. It was more for my bedroom TV which is a slightly older samsung HD tv. There is no picture coming up on screen. Am I wrong in thinking it should appear soon as it's connected or do I need to adjust the tablets settings? It isn't working with my sony smart 4k tv either. I'm unsure if I'm doing something wrong. It's a 5pin I'm using with the power running into it. Tried it without the power too but same thing. Thanks

I shut off my phone and let it charge fire a few hours when I turned it back on my phone icon is missing I've had problems in the past with numbers showing up instead of the contact names in my call log. can you help me

I'm contemplating encrypting the SD card in my S7 Edge. But I'm paranoid about loss of data on a device malfunction.
The solution to this is backups. At the moment, with an un-encrypted SD card, I can connect the S7 to my Windows PC, where the device drive and SD card will appear as separate drives. Then I backup the SD card to an encrypted file on the PC.

Will this still work once the SD card is encrypted?
Perhaps an easier question is: Will my PC still be able to read the content of the SD card via the S7 USB port once the SD card is encrypted?

Presumably, I could encrypt the card, and see what happens, then decrypt the card if I find I cannot back it up. But I'm leery of mixing encryption and experimentation... a right royal road to data loss in my experience!

Just got my Moto Z Play Droid from Verizon yesterday, and loving the phone. There is one thing that I noticed though, and its driving me crazy. I know this is completely being overly picky, but the "Droid" logo across the camera lens is crooked. Is any body else's like that. I'm debating exchanging it even though I know its really something I need to get over.

Until recently I was a proud owner of Samsung S7 SM-G930FD. Dual sim problem was going on for some time until I completely lost reception on SIM # 2. With little research I found out that as long as I select 4G on either SIM, that sim will work on that particular network. SIM downgraded to 2Gt will not get any voice or data.
Found out that companies such as AT&T have completely cut of voice channels and strumming voice via 4G or 3G since the Galaxy 7S duo can have only one SIM on 4G the other SIM becomes useless. Another worfd If Samsung does not do anything to change in the Galaxy S7 software the duos are useless in US.
Open for suggestions and/or tips.

I know it's up to user preferences, but do you usually keep you're screen orientation lock and toggle to unlock it when watching YouTube videos etc, or have it in automatic mode? Thanks.

I would like to see only my main folders in the gallery app but currently it shows 100+ folders from both internal and MSD card.

Any ideas?
