I'm from St.Lucia and purchased a S4, I had to unlock it because it used a LTE carrier but I need GSM so I did so and I could receive calls for a few months after I did so but from some reason now I can't make calls or receive them. Any ideas on how to fix this?I use digicel by the way.

Hello. I have been using my new Samsung S6 for two weeks now. It works well generally.

However, tonight I let it load a (HD?) video in the Youtube app and my phone suddenly froze, emitting a very strange alarm-like noise (this reminds me of a few desktop computer crashes back in the day) that hurt my ears. After like 10-15 seconds it rebooted.

It was scary, and this makes me really nervous. I hate dysfunctional hardware. I like watching videos on this beautiful screen, but I am afraid to do so now. I only found one thread on these forums about a similar crash on an old Sony tablet. Might this point to a serious hardware issue, like a problematical sound card or video card? Do I have to return this telephone? I never had any problems with my Samsung s4 mini.

after factory reset i got data wipe complete plus message "no command" under android logo . i try to reboot system, once reboot the tablet turn off.

Hi, i cant find the plans for my M8. I have a spigen case and i love it but i dosnt suport IR. I want to trim the smal part of the case so that i can use IR. where on the top is the IR signal coming out the strongest?

Certain music files will not move to my sd card. When a file won't move it prevents all files, in that group to be moved, from being moved until the unmovable file is located. Only then can the other files be moved. I've created a file on my phone called NoMove where I keep them. Examples: Joey Alexan...Center.mp3 , Kanye West...EAK).mp3 , Rihanna_B*...Lyrics.mp3. I have others and their is no common elements in either of them except that they won't move to my sd card. Why? What can I do to move these files? Changing phones soon. Will loose these files.

I have a 16GB Galaxy 5 with an 8 GB SD card, which is close to full. I would like to replace that 8GB card with a 32GB. The current SD card has mostly music on it, but there is other stuff on there, like a folder for Android with a bunch of Data subfolders, and some other folders, which appear to be empty. I think that the way to do this is to move all of the SD card onto my laptop and then re-install it on a new card. Is this correct? Would this screw up any of the stuff currently on the device itself? And would I add the stuff from my computer onto the card DIRECTLY, or thru the phone connected to the computer? A dummies' question, perhaps, but I want to get it right.

hi, i am livid. i made an appointment to have my phone looked at by a tech at one of your corporate stores, i started by seeing the rep sitting out front where he plugs my phone in hangs it upside down and drops it onto the desk a short drop but still he's dropped it as many times as i have in the 15 months ive owned it. he then scolds me like a child and tells me im never supposed to use my phone while charging, tells. me that he cant even look at my phone with the launcher i have, and that not only should i disable it but i should uninstall it completely and when i say i want a tech to look at my phone he said they would look at him like he was crazy but could put my. phone on a charger for an hour but likely this would be a waste of time and that they can look at volatage history to see if i used my phone while it was charging (im not sure why this is an issue since i have insurance on the phone and feel i should be able to use it when i want) when i brought up insurance he said well you might get a refurbished phone as a replacement and do i really want a refurbished note 4 after the note 5 has been out for few months imply that your refurbished phones are subpar. he also said they could factory reset my phone (once again not sure why my phone would need to be factory reset because of a hardware issue) my issue is that intermittently my phone will not stay. connected on the charger and i wanted the port looked at by a tech. i am very disappointed in how i was treated at the store today (honestly usually everyone assists me to tbe best of their abilities and are willing to answer questions when i ask) why do i have insurance on my phone if im having issues and cant get a tech to look at it and when i said i could bring my car charger in he said it really wouldnt matter if it didnt recreate the issue. very unwilling to assist me and seemed to just want to get me out of the store, i really do not appreciate how i was treated and how your employee was dismissive of my concerns, i am aware that maybe the issue is. possibly exacerbated by using the phone while it is plugged in, but so what? i have insurance if i need to pay a deductible im willing to. and my problem is not when im using the phone but when it is on a car mount plugged into the charger. i think he felt that maybe i was technologically inept and if he threw around enough phrases i would trust that he was well versed in what he was spewing. my problem was not with voltages and if some tech could research if i used my. phone while charging so i could be chided about causing the problem. and losing things i had not backed up because of a factory reset... if it needs factory reset ive backed everything i needed backed up in several places... he continually created scenarios to convince me to not have the issue with my my phone corrected. why do i have insurance?

Ugh...I seem to have the dreaded Android System/OS battery bug. I saw exact same issue in S6. Come on Samsung, get with it man!!! A hard reset cleared it up last time. I certainly don't want to do that as I just got everything setup the way I want it.

All of my widgets Won't Update After Marshmallow update. I have deleted them and repopulated them again. I have also wiped the cache. Nothing works.

Beautiful widgets is one of the widgets, along with Elixir widget.

Any suggestions?

I have lollipop 5.0, no root, 100% stock. -- As you know, you are forced to choose one- only default messing app, like- Gosms pro, or Textra. --Sms apps like: Viber or whatsup do not apply to this rule and I don't want to use those kinds of apps!

Is there anyway to get around this forced to choose one default app in 5.0? I remember when I had jellybean, you did not have this problem and it worked just fine and never asked you to choose a default sms app!

Please let me know a simple way to make this happen (if possible), I'm really new at all this! I am willing to root my phone or whatever it takes to make this work!

Any how, Ive read about downloading appsapk's but my concern is this, apps could have been tampered with and they could be dangerous!
Now..... how do I know if they are clean to install? and where would be the best place to get them from ? other than the playstore obviously.
I like to try the Corana on android, i'm in Canada so it does not download cuss its restricted from the playstore. Thank you every one
