OnePlus spends $300k to prominently display their smartphones in House of Cards season 4

There's something about being a smartphone/Android enthusiast that we're constantly trying to identify every piece of tech whether in real life or cinema. According to OnePlus, they were willing to fork over $300,000 to get their phones -- OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X -- into the hands of prominent House of Cards characters. Did spot them?

Google hires 4chan founder Chris Poole (aka ‘Moot’) to help with Google+ and Photos

In an interesting move from Google, the Mountain View tech giant has just hired the founder of 4chan, Chris Poole (aka "Moot"). It wasn't immediately clear what his position will be, Google+ co-founder Bradley Horowitz tweeted he was excited to have him join the team.

The Galaxy S7 is headed to Boost Mobile on March 11th, Virgin Mobile on the 18th

Sprint announced that those on Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile will soon be able to buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Boost Mobile gets it March 11th, while those on Virgin Mobile will have to wait until March 18th. It's only the Onyx Black regular, flat version (nothing mentioned about the Edge) which starts at $649.99.

The Goggle Tech C1 Glass is not like other traditional Cardboard headsets. In fact, it's not really a "headset" at all. The C1 Glass has more in common with a pair of regular 'ol glasses than it does a virtual reality device. We had to check it out.

Facebook today confirmed that Facebook Messenger's new Material Design UI is now going out to all users. The company was testing the new interface with many users already, and with this rollout it seems they're finally happy with where they're at.

Welp, this probably isn't the most scientific camera test you're ever going to see, but it sure as hell is worth watching. A man from Taiwan was excited to get his new Samsung Galaxy S7, and apparently the camera was of great importance to him as he wasted no time testing out its dual-pixel autofocus capabilities.

OnePlus has announced a new installment plan to make paying for orders easier. Folks shopping in the company's US store can pay for any order over $99 in installments, so you won't have to pay full price for a device upfront.

Sony Xperia Z5 family, Z3+ and Z4 Tablet get Android 6.0 Marshmallow

The base Sony Xperia Z5 model was receiving Marshmallow as early as last week in Japan, but now it seems to be going out globally alongside new rollouts for the Xperia Z5 Premium and the Xperia Z5 Compact. Beyond that, a couple of older devices are getting the goods, as well.
