My samsung galaxy s4 mini wouldnt charge today. At first when i plugged in a charger it said unable to charge, and i should use an original samsung charger and it wouldnt recognize any charger. I tried everything. When i got the original charger it said it was charging but its been on 0% for over 3 hours. I tried to put the thingy in the usb port in its place, cleaned it and just now i pulled out the battery to take out the sd card and now it wont start nor charge.

So att gives us this obnoxious remote app even though I don't use their TV service, I disabled it and I see it shows an update was available even though it's disabled.

Once updated it was running again and showing the annoying remote in the notification shade.

I mainly just use the card to store pictures and music. 64 GB should be plenty because I have 32 on my current phone and it's not full. I don't want to spend a whole lot so what do you recommend?

First of all I have only had my new Verizon S7 for a bit over 24 hours but so far I love it!

I am coming from an S5 and noticed that two of my favorite features have been removed.
1. Air View
2. Delay Send (Messages)

I used the Air View all the time with my calendar and text messages. Primarily I loved it with my test messages so I could see the message without actually going in and reading it. It would still be unread and it would serve as a reminder for me that I needed to follow up on something.

Delay send was also a great feature since I was able to delay the message from being sent for even 10 seconds. This helped me to "recall" the message in case I sent it to the wrong person or needed to edit it.

Were these features still on the S6 and does anyone know why they'd want to do away with them?

I have since installed Textra and am giving that a shot as it has a delay send feature.

Unfortunately, this won't be too in-depth because I am new to the OS and still trying to adjust to the freedom.

..long time IOS user, since the beginning, received my edge yesterday. I was extremely hesitant on removing it form the box as my case isn't due to arrive till tomorrow. Btw, I went with the Spigen Thin Fit - Black ;)

Anyways, had to remove the phone since I needed the MAC address to submit the VR Promo.

WOW! Out the box, no power, the fit and feel blow away any iPhone I have ever had. Its a nice phone! Stoked. Kudos to Samsung for an excellent device. Did my best to transfer everything, and eventually had an at&t rep finish it up for me. Shot down to BB to grab an SD card; just went with the 64gb as everything else was sold out. I did get the fastest R/W available though. I am sure I will upgrade eventually, if needed.

Powered up, the screen on this phone is amazing, so vibrant and very rich in color. Zero lag, or stuttering. The touch is very responsive. It just keeps getting better.

I did manage to disable what I "thought" were unnecessary apps, but i am sure I left some out. This is where I lean on you experts..

Im sure its too soon to expect a list populated with the discovered bloatware as I have seen with previous versions, BUT could anyone possible help me identify anything else that needs disabled or uninstalled?

This happened during initial setup seemingly randomly. Button triggers without touch, vibrate also triggers as if button being pressed with recent apps display showing up and disappearing multiple times before stopping. Occasional message regarding split screen not being available with recent apps list appears. Tried factory reset and issue began as soon as initial account set up completed even without any new apps being added. No issues when using VR apps but has happened while installing apps and updates. Happened with phone sitting in palm with no contact being made with screen. No problem noted when phone on stand bye/not logged in.

With the developer's preview of Android "N", will it be available on Nexus 5?

Ever since I upgraded to Marshmallow the ambient moto display thing sometimes turns on when i pick it up or move the phone. It doesn't seem to be the gesture hand swipe over thing but something else. Anyone have any idea on this?

I just got my 6P. While setting it and testing text messages, I notice there either going SMS - Messenger or to Hangouts. I opened up hangouts and set merge conversations. On my Moto X I just used Hangouts and switched between when needed.

It did not merge conversations. Also in hangouts when I start a new conversation, it shows I have no contacts. When starting a new conversation previously it would see all my contacts from my gmail account. No ideas why hangout does not pull my gmail contacts?

I'm new to rooting phones, I'm only familiar with the wild Javelina on Haleakala back in Hawaii. Don't want to mess it up.

Anybody download a launcher yet? I used Nova Launcher for awhile when I had a gs5 and loved it. Just wondering if it has been, or any Launcher, optimized for the edge.

Hi, I just bought my first ever Android device: Samsung Galaxy S7. I'm switching from WindowsPhone (Lumia930).
After setting up and downloading all me needed apps I wanted to search for a contact person via the standard dialer app.
Now it appears that I can't select any of my Office365 contacts, only Google and Samsung contacts (which I haven't any).
I truly hope that there's a way to select a contact (I have more than 1000 Outlook/O365 contacts) via the dialer or standard Contact app.

If not that would be a major issue and I think I will send in the new device.
