I need help on deciding witch case is best for my note 5.
I've tried the spigen slim armour and it was not for me.
I have noworked the cummter otterbox and the UAG. Not sure witch one I'm going to keep as I've heard great things about both.
So otterbox vs uag...thoughts opinions and suggestions please!

Hello and thanks in advance for any help you can be. I just got the Galaxy S7 from Verizon. I cant figure out how to adjust the settings on the Samsung email app so that in the inbox i just see the senders name and the subject and date/time received (i dont want to see the 1st line of the body of the email on the inbox view) - there was a setting for this on my Galaxy S5 - i cant find it on the S7 and its bugging me ! (i need to see more emails in inbox on 1 page view !) Thanks again-

So this has been one doozy of a dinger for my mornings. Earlier today, I had woken up to find that my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge received a notification for a software update. Normally, I just have to let it restart, go into hard reset to get the update going, let it finish, go do another hard reset to get to Android Diagnostics and make sure the update went into effect, then power it down and back up to go into a soft reset so that I can be able to use my phone (all because of an accidental mishap resulting in some water damage). Well after the second time of doing a hard reset, it showed the updating screen as before and loaded again which led me to notice that the progression bar stops at either 92-93% then jumps to 100% after a brief pause. Now the latter has happened before with a few previous updates so it led me to think that I should just let it happen again until it's all good but after several attempts taking time out of my day, it's pretty much been revealed to me that I'm getting nowhere with this. I have seen if it'll do anything after a soft reset and so far it'll take me to the soft reset screen, the Samsung S6 Edge screen, and then loop back to the gray battery but the battery will just be static with no other animation. So far, I've done all I know I can do with it being only functional when plugged into an outlet (doesn't really cooperate/work when plugged into laptops/desktops). I know I'm screwed enough as is but before jumping the gun and possibly having to get a new replacement phone, I'm wanting to know if there's still a chance to get it to its working condition like before the update.

Tl;Dr - New S6 Edge update messed up my phone more so than it was before, can't even get it in "proper" working condition.

Trying to save pictures to SD Card..its useless!! Meaning EMPTY!! I have been trying to kove my pictures!

I need to my calendar to remind me every third tuesday. I usually saw it under the repeat button now where is it i can not find it .

I can use a app but it's weird that is not an option in gallery

I want to create a widget for the Outlook app in order to get the notification badges. I can get the widget onto the Home Screen as usual but I cannot drag it into the static Dock area at the bottom of the display.

Would a Launcher app enable me to do this, and if so, which one would be the best for this?

I know that I just posted this in another thread, but I feel that this may be helpful to the community at large to see what can safely be disabled on your new S7 Edge. So, idk what happened, but quite a few functions have gone off now. I'm using the Moto x play on android marshmallow, and my main problem atm is the home button.

It's softkeys, so on-screen buttons, and the rest still work except for the home button. The only way it can function as a home button is if overview is opened and then home is pressed, otherwise it's completely useless.

As well as that, I can't get any notifications in the drawer or anything, and that includes permanent notifications like that of MacroDroid or even music apps, nothing shows up. Plus, I can't pull down the drawer further to get the glance settings or whatever they're called, as it just stops when I get to the (always empty) drawer.

My almost final problem is that the lock screen is completely bypassed when taking the phone out of standby, I have a pattern lock set but it just skips that and takes me straight into the phone.

Finally, I would have factory reset my phone by now but guess what?
That's broken too! I can't tap factory reset in the settings. That's also a big issue. And there are probably more problems that I haven't found yet :p

So, of anyone has any help that would be appreciated, as I haven't found any problem similar to this anywhere else.

Note that this is a moto x play, and so the battery can't be removed, and also I have tried rebooting it multiple times and gone into safe mode a couple of times too. Nothing has worked as of yet.

So had an experience worth sharing. Saw thread about people's experience on Fi, outside the country, but last week I went to NW Montana near Glacier National. Reception not great but manageable especially if you get occasional access to WiFi. Many of my calls for running my business were done through Wi-Fi, which was nice. To me, though, the coolest thing was when I did signal checks, I was actually using ATT and Verizon signals. So even though it couldn't find very many Sprint and T-Mobile towers, I generally had service. Don't get me wrong, there were times, I had absolutely nothing, but it was good to know, it wasn't no service all the time as I feared before I left.

Sometimes my phones RAM very high and i dont get why its going that high most of it is system and apps?
Any suggestions how to keep the ram lower and when i clear it it'll go to about 75% then high again

Since the marshmallow update my apps are constantly stopping and also when I search something it says I don't have a connection. When I repeat the search, it comes up. Could this have something to do with the update and if so, is there something I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance.

I recently upgraded my S6 Edge to 6.0.1 and my stock email that used to be on thread view has gone back to full list of emails and not grouped into conversations.... does anyone know how to change it back? It used to be by pressing the 3 dots in the upper right corner but this is no longer there! I have massive conversations and need to get this back.... please help!!
