That the located device (LG G4) will not show any notification that this device was located by another device (e.g.: PC, smartphone ) using Android Device Manager

If it is not possible , are there other applications that allow this ?

Looking for some advice from the Android Central community here... (I've already read Android Central's Best Android Phones 2016 post but want a little more feedback from AC's members.

Back story:

My brother called me last night and asked for advice on which Android phone to buy. He's been rocking a BlackBerry Z30 the past couple of years, which he actually liked a lot. He's an engineer, smart guy, but hasn't put his smartphone to use for too much stuff beyond the communication basics (he has an iPad for games at home, uses a PC, doesn't really like the closed-ness of Apple's ecosystem at all so would much rather go PC / Android than other alternatives).

Now, while I'm the dumb one in the family who tends to blow money on whatever is tagged as "Best"... my brother is the thrifty one. Super value conscious, always looking for the best deal, and even after he buys something is watching for for price drops for weeks to make sure he didn't overpay. He's not cheap, nor does he feel compelled to buy the best things... he's a thrifter.

Based on all that, I found it really difficult to answer his question. My initial answer was "BUY THE S7 or Nexus 6P!" But his take on the S7 was too expensive. Then he was thinking about the maybe the year-ish old Galaxy S6, but then I said he'd probably want to go S6 Plus for extra size and bigger battery. I mentioned the Priv of course, seeing as he's moving over from BlackBerry 10, but he wasn't into it (I let him play with my Priv before and he just didn't like it).

So I'm sort of in between categories here... I'm not looking for the Best Android Phone, and I'm not looking for the Best Cheap Android Phone (that was built ground up to be inexpensive). I'm now looking for an Android phone that's all around awesome (maybe used to be the best) but is available for cheapest.

Any thoughts? (For the record, he's in Canada on a GSM carrier... MTS).

I've had this annoying bug with the Youtube app for android for a couple of months (Samsung Galaxy S5 neo).

When i click a video it runs perfectly fine for around 30 seconds but then the video freezes (the sound and video time bar continues). I tried removing all Youtube updates to see if it had something to do with a new update but no it still has the bug. It doesn't bug on every video but on most of them it does.

I am really getting annoyed so can someone please help me?

Title: Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Mobile Review: A new champion

I upgraded from the S5 to the S7 Edge. On the 5, I had it set to announce when I got a call or text message from my contacts. I can't find out how to do this on the S7 Edge without a 3rd party app.
I don't need it to read the SMS, just the name from who sent it. IE, "New text message from Mom"

Does anyone know?

Hello everyone, I'm a small indie game dev looking for some feedback on our game Fastest Fingers In The Universe (AKA FFITU), or if you don't want to give feedback and end up just playing it because you like it then that's good too, but I would love to hear your views.

The main objective of the game is fun, but also to compete against friends in the cross platform online high score hall of fame, to aid you use the planetary shields, upgrade your lasers and hit the aliens as soon as they enter the screen, plus get as many bonuses as you can, enjoy.

There is also special eye candy laser to collect later on after you have upgraded your main laser to laser 5.

The game does have ads but only if you want free in game coins and only if you press the button in the stats room that says get coins, so they won't bother you unless you press that button, we just want to earn a little money so we can spend more time updating this game and making new games.

please remember to come back here and give me some feedback please as id love to hear what people think rather than just a short review that some players have posted on google play, the game has 4.9 becuase someone gave it a 4 for being to hard but they didnt know it had a easy button setting in the settings room, so should be 5 out of 5 really but they have not gone back and edited it.

I keep getting the message "Unfortunately, Bluetooth Share has stopped". then it connects to Bluetooth and then I get the message again. The cycle keeps repeating. Anyone else getting this message? Anyone have a solution?

I received my new s7e today. Activating my phone quickly drained the battery, is this normal? I also performed a system update and updated apps. Charging now to 100%

Highball Android operating system Smart Stick it's called mk802iiis purchased it by Amazon it has a 4.2.2 operating system Jelly Bean or believe it is by Angelique I'm having problems connecting to Google Play the browser works I can sign in to Google I can check my email and use the browser but it will not let me connect to Google Play I'm receiving an error message that says RH - e01 error retrieving information from server I've been told it could be a power supply problem or a Wi-Fi problem has anyone had experience with this?

CONDITION: Screen is cracked (would need replacement), superficial scuff on top left frame near damage. Body is otherwise in good condition and in great working order.

OTHER: I had this since shortly after launch last year. Screen is cracked (full picture link posted), but otherwise the phone is in good condition for a phone that's 13 months old (was in a case mostly). Battery degradation is minimal for a phone used constantly for 13 months (I didn't abuse the battery) and it pretty much holds the same charge now that it did when new.

Phone runs great, theSoC has the highest PVS rating actually. GB score below isn't the highest I've seen... and it has scored as high as 92K on newest Antutu version. I mostly included it to show that the phone still ran AND wasn't messed up. Dropped it about a week after I got the 6.... had it out of the case as I was playing with it in a Viewmaster. Very sad to see it go.

I'll even load whatever supported Android version your heart desires (even the latest N if you are of the inclination).
