Please help an older lady that has upgraded to a smart phone for the first time a few days ago. I have a AT&t plan that has came with only 2 g of shared data. At this time we are mostly only using the phone for calls and text. My question is about all the apps that appear to be running and eating data even tho the apps are not being selected. When checking DATA USAGE all of the apps show some amout of data. Each app dose not show much data amount, but it adds up especially with 2 phones. Question: How do we keep apps from running in the background? I know know if we will ever use most of them, but I hate to completey because we might.

We do not have wi-fi at home so letting wi-fi eat them is not an option. I would also like any other data saving tips that I can get.

My phone rings, as I answer/swipe i can hear the click of the answering tone and then the other click of "hanging up". My friend is mad because he/she thinks i do not want to talk to him/her. I kept telling that friend that each time it's not my fault, i answer and as i say hello, the line hangs up......

I'm being patient but it feels like its been months since lg released Android 6.0 but according to T-Mobile they don't even have it yet to start working on it......its still in manufacturer status.

Probably no set answer, but what's a generally expected % of battery loss for this tablet being in standby/deep sleep/airplane mode? I typically put it in airplane mode before bed and when I wake up I observe 15% or so battery loss, which seems a bit high. Unless my memory's faulty, it used to be around 3-5% overnight. I'm curious to know what others typically observe, and why the standby battery drain might increase (aside from the battery aging)?

I've tried a number of roms on it, ranging from custom KK to LP. I just reverted back to stock KK (4.4.4) and am rooted. So far, the battery drain doesn't seem as bad as custom roms, but will give it a day or two.

Battery shows charged 100% but drops to 93% and phone shuts off when you disconnect charger. Phone will not turn on unless it is connected to charger. When you try to turn the phone on, off charger, you get the Samsung then the Galaxy screen and they just go back and forth. You can use phone while it is on charger. Battery appears to be ok physically.

I have my text message icon in the app dock on the home screen. I then have the same text message icon thrown into a junk folder in the app drawer. When I get a text message, the icon alerts me on the home screen, and also advises via the counter on the message icon in the junk folder. Is there a way to hide the icon all together using stock touch wiz? I have used Nova and just hid apps, but was wondering if you can the same thing on stock Touch Wiz.

I absolutely love the camera on my Turbo and especially the Exposure/Focus circle. This morning the Exposure part of it is missing! The Focus Circle is there but the exposure slider is gone. I have turned it on and off (the exposure setting in the camera) and rebooted the camera.

I uninstalled all updates for the app and I can now see the slider but it does not work, does not change the exposure. When I reinstall the update, the help screens all come up saying that it is available but it isn't. Settings shows it is on!

I really relied on it to photograph products. Any help is appreciated.

Kinda like contacts shortcuts but just messages

Since some days a small grey square resides in the middle of my Lollipop screen (left side). I may have used an app or sg, a kind of an accessibility tool? when I tap on that square, a shortcut screen pops up, with the four default apps.

How can I configure this feature? may I select other apps as well? and how to switch the whole off?

Hello, the question is Samsung related, so apologies if it's in the wrong thread. I'm curious whether the stock Samsung email app under Marshmallow is different to the one under 5.x, especially if they brought back the "select all" box and the "select all of a specific date" box like it was under Kitkat. Maybe some UK beta testers know? Thank you!
