Polaroid 902b tablet It went haywire withe flickering screen so I shut it down and rebooted then most of the apps wouldn't work so I reinstalled them. Now the file manager(I've tried 3of them) won't recognize the external SD card or my USB when I plug it in.
What could be wrong?

Hi all,
I purchased a cheap 7" Allwinner A33 tablet and attempted to rid the adware from it by rooting it then running a couple of malware/trojan killer apps but ended up with a recurring keyguard error. Also a strip of the screen wasn't responding to touch (I suspect this is hardware though?)
Anyway, after much googling and trying to find the right firmware (it came with 4.4.2 but I hoped to get 5.0 working on it) I managed to reflash it using Phoenixcard. It boots and the green bar goes across and I now have what I thought was the original firmware reflashed but it's not responding to touch properly, I can't select anything on the screen but can restart etc. with the power button.
I have the firmware as astar_y3-eng 4.4.2 KVT49L 20151112 test-keys
An info app I ran on there indicated the following:

I wondered if the 552 pixels was down to the strip of screen not responding to touch and it should be 600?

I keep getting these phantom touches on my Galaxy S5. It's like the back button is being hit 3-4 times, and it kicks me out of the app I'm using. Even when it kicks me out you can feel it still hitting the back button.

So, I fell victim to the notorious boot loop and had to have my phone fixed under warranty. Getting it back tomorrow and want to setup an automated back up to the SD card.

I can't seem to figure out how to have it back up to the SD card OR how to schedule a backup. I know this used to be possible back on my G2 because I did both of those. Is that no longer possible with the latest LG Backup tools?

I just recently switched from Windows phone, and have spent the last few days finding and setting up a calendar and email app that work how I want them to. Now it is time to figure out a browser, but I could use some help. I have a few things I'm looking for.
1) A browser that does a good job of rendering webpages. Edge/Explorer sucked at this on Windows Phone, so probably anything will be a step up.
2) A browser that is easy to use one handed. So most of the items you would want to access, like the bookmarks, tabs, address bar, etc. at the bottom. I've tried the Chrome browser (it fails at this), and the Samsung one (much better, as everything other than the address bar was at the bottom).
3) Ad blocking abilities.

Any suggestions on what I should look at/try?

I have recently been enlisted into conducting public surveys for a scientific institute which use a 6 page multiple choice survey. Since this is a waste of alot of paper (and alot of mess if things get windy), I am thinking of going paperless. I have a Samsung galaxy tab 3 and want to conduct digital surveys with it in the field. I am looking for a way to either:

- Write (using the S pen) onto a downloaded PDF copy of the survey (any good apps for this??)
or
- Recommend any free surveying apps that allows me to ask up to 18 questions and can be easily used on a tablet & can be exported onto computers.

Evey time doze kicks in my Bluetooth earbuds disconnect this would happen with my Huawei watch too until the last Android Wear update... Is there any way to stop this from happening

This weekend I made the switch from Windows Phone (Lumia 920) to Android (S7). I'm trying to make the transition smoothly, and part of that is using some Microsoft apps since I'm already familiar with them. One is Cortana, but I have one thing that is annoying the crap out of me. I can set a reminder, but when it comes time for the notification, my phone actually speaks to me ("you have a reminder", or something like that), as opposed to just vibrating. I currently have the ringtones, notifications, and system set to vibrate, and media to sound. I cannot find any type of setting to stop the app from speaking. Am I just looking in the wrong place, or is this not an option?

Over the past few days I noticed an ever decreasing battery life on my S7. I have not made any system changes nor have I installed any new apps. This is Co sisters with my experiences with the S6 and the S6 before that where, a few weeks into owning the device, the battery life starts to drop considerably from what was very good life at the beginning. Now, I'm at 63% with 3h43m on battery and about 1h39m of sot.
What gives?
