Facebook Messenger rolling out custom profile usernames, links, and QR codes to share with others Posted: 07 Apr 2016 03:55 PM PDT Last year, Facebook made it possible for anyone to use Messenger — the social network's instant messaging platform — with or without a Facebook account. Today they're announcing new profile options that should make connecting with others much more easy. |
This year’s Moto X allegedly pictured in the wild, front facing fingerprint sensor on deck Posted: 07 Apr 2016 02:36 PM PDT Like Motorola leaks before it, the Moto X 2016 appears to have been spotted in the wild. The front of the device has a familiar Motorola branding indicating a pre-production unit, along with a front facing fingerprint sensor. Looks like Motorola could be ditching stereo front facing speakers as found on the Moto X 2014 and 2015. |

B&H Photo has started listing the device -- which easily records 360-degree video at resolutions up to 4K 30fps -- for $350. |
Yahoo is working on a voice assistant named Index, but will it ever see the light of day? Posted: 07 Apr 2016 11:22 AM PDT Personal assistants -- we've all been there, and we've all done that. Google Now, Apple's Siri, Amazon Alexa, and Microsoft Cortana all serve as their customers' right-hand aide to do as many tasks as a digital voice can handle, and they do them well. Yahoo might be looking to join that party. |

If you thought it was just a bigger screen and a bigger battery, guess again. The 5.5-inch 1080p display on the P9 Plus isn't a dramatic step up from the 5.2-inch display on the regular model in terms of size, but it does have considerable improvements elsewhere. |
