please tell me is their a way i can change it or a proper test whcih can help me know if my display is messed up so i can replace it

So I work in a shop. Always have my Otterbox on it. (Basicaly since I smashed a mugger with my phone. And it got smashed by falling pipe and never even damaged the phone.)

But I am an avid cosplayer. So im looking for a thin case that has a bit of decent protection. Because it's really weird when somone snaps a pic and there's a phone bulge. What do you guys use? I've heard good things about spigen. But I tend to be wary of Amazon reviews.

Okay so I have an s3. If I'm not on my phone for about 5 hours, the screen goes black and I can't do anything but the LED lights still work. When I turn it off and back on again, the screen starts working again. But everyone I leave my phone for a few hours, it keeps turning black and I have to turn off my phone again. Can anyone help?

I have accessed notifications for device and apps and still getting a "bing" regularly. I use an E-Mail account other than GMail . . .

Trying to transfer photos from my galaxy note 5 to windows ten

I didn't realise my moto x play did not have an LED. However I was assured in an online chat that Active Display was awesome. Am I doing something wrong?

1. Nothing is displayed on my screen unless I pick it up, then it shows me the clock and any messages
2. If I wait half a second it disappears and nothing will bring it back unless I put it down for about 10 seconds. Wiggling it did nothing other than bring up my camera
3. I was playing a game and never noticed a notification came in. Back in rest mode absolutely nothing was displayed so the only time I realised I had a message was when I switched on the phone. It seems active display only wants to be active if you aren't using your phone when a message comes in.
4. I saw in a video you can 'just look at the phone' and the clock/notifications appear. Nothing happened for me.
5. I heard in a video it glows now and again. Never happened to me, it only does it once when I pick up the phone.

Am I doing something wrong? and how exactly is this better than a LED - with an LED notification I know something is there because I get a flashing light, and it's there whether I'm using my phone or not, and is always there until I read the messages. If I could even touch the screen to bring up the active display it might be more useful, but it doesn't even do that.

tbh, if this is the best it gets, I'm sending the phone back, I've only had it 1 day and I hate not knowing I have notifications as this seems not fit for the job.

I recently updated my Samsung tab 4 7.0 by going to settings and update now. I was connected to the personal hotspot on my phone. The update downloaded without and error messages. Ten, I installed it. The install process seemed to go fine and the phone restarted. However, the tablet is still running Kit Kat. I connected to a wifi source that isn't very strong and it told me I have the most current update. What is going on??

anyone know how to get around without wiping the device? HTC cust. svc./live chat are worthless.

Each time I unlock my phone a add pops up trying to get me to buy something or enter a competition.

I turned on my phone and it said optimizing 1 out of 28 apps, once my phone had started I attempted to use whatsapp. My phone had logged me out of my old numbers and groups and due to me not having access to this sim I could not gain access to my contacts. The same can be said for all my phone contacts as they all operated under my irish number. Now,living in canada

My phone was charging last night, and in my sleep I spilled a glass of water all over my phone. I wiped it off, and I was so tired that I did not unplug the phone or do anything other than wipe it off, which was the stupidest thing I could've done. Woke up this morning and it says the battery is dead, I tried 2 different chargers and it will not charge. I've had it sitting in rice all day and nothing. I tried the 4 button pushing and restarting thing, it worked, showed the Galaxy s6 logo, then the screen went black. WHAT DO I DO?
