I usually use fingerprints to access my phone, but after I powered it down today it is requesting a password which I, of course, do not have. I have seen many posts that say after a few failed attempts it will allow you to attempt to use your google account. I have made a great deal of attempts, and I have yet to see this option. The phone is now locking me out for an hour.

I have tried Android Device Manager, and Samsung Find My Phone. Samsung's site is currently experiencing some technical difficulties. And Device Manager is equally useless to bypass the password.

What an amazingly annoying feature. Can anyone help me?

So I'm trying to add a bunch of different podcast episodes into one Playlist so I can listen to all of them without pulling out my phone and switching them. How can I get them all together?

Hi all,

I often use frame lapse software to record my time lapsed drawings. I've noticed since updating the software that my videos appear extremely pixelated, regardless of recording in UHD and having high performance switch on.
Does anyone have a work around for this?

For some reason it's only Google that does this. But Google randomly pops up after I've been playing with my phone in the water. Everything else works just fine. I don't know what to do. After about 2-3 after it fully dries this does not happen. Google never pops up randomly if I don't take it in water. Is this a app problem or what? It just piped up 3 times while I was typing this.

Recently had to do a factory reset on cell phone.
I had a camera app that I was able to place on the main screen, and with one click it would start taking video. Any ideas which app it could have been?
I've d/l several so far, but none seem to have that feature.

I have a LG Optimus F240L, and I cant use my keyboard. I've tried turning it off and on, Ive taken out the battery, but nothing seems to work. I have a passcode, but cant unlock because the keyboard doesnt even show up. .. I need my phone, but unfortunately cant even access inside it. Tried connecting it through the computer to see if I can change to the phone keyboard instead of the LG keyboard but cant do it without having to unlock my phone for access. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

Hey! Quick question. For those of you who use a 3rd party messaging app, is there a way to turn off the lock screen notifications for just the HTC messaging app? For Textra, they offer a lock screen notification as well, but I can't find a way to turn off the HTC messaging notification without turning all of them off. It's annoying seeing 2 floating text notifications!

Xperia Z3 is on sale for 360 euros and I am seriously considering purchasing one. However, I am worried about the age of the phone.

Alternatively, I am also thinking of buying a windows phone, namely Lumia 830(about 180 euros). I like the OS but I know it does not have many apps, and it is snappy.

I have grown a bit skeptical on Android after a big disappointment from my Galaxy S3. It was slow, it was overheating, laggy and the battery drained very fast. I was surprised to see that my Lumia 520 was performing much better, even being a budget device.

Do new Android phones have those problems as well?
