We just started using BBM on Android (and Apple, but I'm on my GS7) for work (very small company and no one has ever used it before) and I'd really love it if I could dump the events in BBM into Google somehow so they show up in my calendar widget on my home screen. I can see BBM in my list of accounts to sync, but I can't seem to get it to do what I want. I feel like I'm missing something stupid and because we have no idea what we're doing yet I'm asking the interwebs for assistance :-)

My S3 has been acting a little funny lately, and I had tried the usual full shut down, as well as other methods to get a certain app working again. Delete and re download did not work either, so I decided to go to a factory reset. I was wondering, what backup method do you recommend for something like this, and also, would performing a factory reset remove my carrier info, like phone number and data plan? I do have a SIM card, if that helps at all. Thanks for the help!

I use my phone to read alot off stuff, etc, due to which short screen switch off setting (eg. 1min) is too short for me. I have my screen set at 2 minutes right now.

Now, this is a bit of a nuisance when texting or accessing the phone for a brief moment - im a left, the phones big; i need to jiggle the phone in my hand to reach the screen button.

I use a cover that has a flap. It would be perfect if i could somehow use the proximity sensor to detect when the flap covers the screen to turn it off.

I also have a cheap cover for 20e. It has no magnet in it.

Please advise.

I have a cheap "generic" Android smartphone (no Gorilla Glass). I don't have a screen protector right now.

My question is: How easily would the screen get scratched just by placing it in my pocket and taking it out? No keys or change or anything.

(Just because it's cheap doesn't mean I don't value it.)

Hi, i have been having mobile network problem for the past 3weeks. Used to have network but now showing emergency calls only and name of network. Please tell me how to resolve this, cant afford to stay without my Nexus,thanks.

I noticed that games are very laggy on my phone so i decided to download the AnTuTu benchmark and see what's up. And to no surprise it shows a score of around 95000 which is very low compared to the 120000+ i see on youtube.
Its the Exynos version btw and yea i tried restarting and retesting.

Hi everyone, my htc m8 is stuck in recovery mode, Htc said I can send it back to them and they will try to fix it but I will lose everything on my phone, family pictures, important information etc etc, is there anyway I can get my phone out of recovery mode or save everything on my phone, ie do a back up whilsts its in recovery mode. I really will be heartbroken if I can't get my data music pictures etc from the phone. I CAN ONLY GET ONTO SCREEN WITH RECOVERY MODE. thanks

I've recently started using the Galaxy S6, and I cannot get the Calendar notifications to stop interrupting my calls. I use the stock Calendar, and I've set "Notify during calls" to "No".

This only seems to happen with Calendar notifications. Texts, alarms, etc., just pop up at the top of my screen (during calls) without the audible alert. If I turn the Calendar notifications completely off then it doesn't notify me at all, and therefore becomes useless as a calendar.

I'm self-employed and spend a great deal of time on the phone. Can somebody please help?

Just got my N5x yesterday and went through all the settings to turn off sounds and vibrations (even the vibrate on touch) but the phone is still vibrating when I type. Did I miss something?

So Bell rolled out an update to enable VoLTE a couple of days ago (4/24) and it doesn't work on my G4.

The VoLTE option is available in the menu and set to on but the options (video dialer) to use it in the dialer are not there

My wife's Samsung Galaxy S6 is fully functional with the VoLTE (on Bell network) so I'm not sure if it's a G4 problem or specific to my phone.

Spent an hour on the phone with Bell techs and they could not resolve

My Messages app stopped working after the AT&T update. When I open messages and click on a single person-to-person existing test, it closes and gives me the error "Unfortunately, Messages has stopped". What's weird is that it DOES NOT do this for group messages. HELP!!

OK call me square, but I want the "Highlights" page off my phone. I don't do videos or pictures on my phone, nor do I monitor the news. How to do that? Thank you!

When I use Google Now normally and say 'Send a text to ........' my phone then asks me what the message should be. However, I really want to use this function whikst driving. I have a Samsung S5 mini and have taken the steps to replace Samsung S-Voice with Google Now, including installing the BT GNow app. Whilst all other commands seem to work, and the phone is happy to talk to me, when I ask it to send a text it starts to perform this action by opening up the SMS screen with the recipient in the right place but it now fails to ask me what the message is and the car hands free cuts out as if it thinks the order is over. If I reconnect to the voice software by pressing the button on my steering wheel it exits this screen ready for fresh instructions. It did once take text messages properly but I was having issues getting it to go to Google Now as standard and by the time I figured out how to make this happen it developed the issue with sending texts.

Can anyone advise?
