I got the Android 6.0 update about 2 weeks ago and I haven't had a good battery day since! Before the update, I could go from 4:30am until 9:00pm with 15%-20% left! Now, I can't make to 6:00pm without recharging! I have closed all excess apps, cleared caches, rebooted...you name it, I have tried it! I have not added any new apps or changed my usage habits since the update.

The culprits seem to be
Android System: 34.2%
Bluetooth System: 10.8%
Kernel: 8.8%
System (logd): 6.0%

Everything else is 1% or less...

Anyone have any ideas on how to bring my battery life back? It's only 3 hours less but from 6-9pm is prime time usage for me.

I know the 6p had cat 3 and cat 6 support for LTE / 4g, but does it support cat 4?
The reason I'm asking is that my plan included 4g+ but I haven't been able to receive it. Apparently Vodafone in Ireland use cat 4 for their 4g+

if you have a TPU case for the S2 9.7, does the bottom edge fit right?
(not slightly sticking out?)

I've tried 6 different TPUs cases from different brands and vendors.
Ended up returning all, except one.(would have returned the last one
as well, but I kind of gave up and kept it) They all have this problem
with the bottom edge not fitting right. It always sticks out slightly at the
very bottom edge.

Brought the phone a few days ago. I have been searching and search all over the net but nothing i do seems to work. I have tried using Kies and get a error message saying. No samsung device found please retry. Tried updating drivers manually still no joy. Uninstalled and reinstalled Media Pack no joy. I am running windows 10 N and nothing on the internet has helped i hope someone can here :)

When I text someone like my husband for example, his reply will show up "before or in front of" the text I just sent him. Why is it doing this? and how do I fix it?

I have a Wiko Wax and this morning after battery drained out it gave me this screen message "Type password to decrypt storage". I have removed memory and SIM cards and still doesn´t work. I tried pressing volume up and down and power buttons simultaneously, it either takes pics of the screen or it lets me to the reboot menu where I can't select option 9, which is exactly the delete data option, the option can´t be selected. How do I solve this without sending my phone to the brand for possibly weeks? I don't have another phone =/ Anyone, please??

I need help everybody. I got my girlfriend a Verixon HTC Desire 626, added her on my plan, I've added family base and the companion app, and I've seen something shady going. I've gotten a ring for her but before I make a mistake I need to know exactly what she is being sneaky about. The first time I noticed it I saw her notifications were on her locked screen...Well usually if it's a text or Facebook notification, you can just tap on it and it will direct you straight to the texts or it will take you to Facebooks notification. Well I noticed what looked like a text notification and could only read a few words and it read "and be sure to bring a bottle of wine",....well when I clicked on it the open it, I was expecting to get directed into text or messanger or something like that but instead it detoured me into a women's shopping app, Poshmark, I looked and could not find a damn thing, comment or anythjng what I read. I asked her bout it she said she had no clue. Well yesterday, same thing, I see a notification on her screen it read, "oh doing laundry, how funny", so I clicked on it expecting to to see texts or messages, but no, it detoured me to Poshmark again, I asked her bout it n she said she had no clue...I feel like there's a hidden app or something possibly has to do with HTC Dot view BUT she doesn't have the case for it. Please somebody has to know. Any lil help would be appreciated. Thanks guys

Hello, Today my phone decided to crash when playing an audio file from SD card. After turning it back on i was greeted by a language selection screen and basic setup, as if the phone has been reset. It also did not see any SD card being inserted into it. Whats worse - all my contacts, messages, etc. has disappeared. As i do not connect to the internet with my phone, i had no use for google sync feature so it never learned of my contacts ( i guess i was too used to using phones that dont decide to wipe everything at a whim, it seems the more i use android the worse it looks as an OS).

Is there any way to restore the data from phones files? The files that were in internal memory are still there (and i also have a copy on my PC as much as a normal explorer would allow access to), the phone seems to be obliviuos about it, though (installed apps are not showing up, ect). The contact list is the important part, the rest i can survive without.

Android version: 4.0.3 (phone claims no updates available for a long time, i guess its too slow for new versions)

P.S. who the hell designs phones to wipe data after failing to read SD card?

I downloaded AndroidLost and got my pictures off my broken phone. I now have a new phone connected with service. Now, if i send the command to wipe the phone, will it wipe my old phone (with no service) or the new one? I'm scared to send the command in case it wipes the new one.
