How do i back up everything on my Moto X PE? I keep getting " authentication problem" while trying to connect to wifi at work. No problems anywhere else. Phone won't forget network either. Figure i need to do a reset but don't want to lose everything.

I want to buy a s7 but how good is it is it better than grand prime pros and cons

Hi, everyone! Long member, first post.

This is driving me nuts and I can usually figure out how to do stuff myself. I set up my work email to send me text notifications when I get new email (I can't add my work email account to my phone). Since this isn't a normal text, I would like to set a custom notification for texts from Outlook.

When I got the first text, I added the email address to my contacts. Note that the texts are sent from an email address, not a phone number.

Within the messages app (the stock Samsung one), I clicked "More" and selected "view contact details". From there, I can add custom sounds for both the ringtone and the message sound for the contact.

I've changed both of those, but I still get the same notification that I get for other texts. I've tried a lot of things and did lots of Google searches and lots of reading posts on this site and I can't find anyway to do this. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance!

So i started woking at Bosch Car Service and i'm dealing with cars which has technical failures and i can point them out easly, while patheticly i cannot solve a simply android issue. How pathetic is this?... Once you recover it to it's factory settings, 'market' appears instead of Play Store. I runned Market and created an account and accepted terms&service. Right after that another message pops up about market and i press home then wait for 2-3 minutes then Play Store appears. Well after i download 'Youtube' from play store, i head to head with a message that says 'you need Google Play Service to run Youtube' when i press the message it redirects me to Play Store as Google Play Service app is ready for download. After i download it, i face an error just right when it finished downloading and started installing which says "Incompatible with other applications(s) using the same shared user ID and this is pretty much it. What do i need to do, to run Youtube and stuff?! For real guys i deal with huge-*** cars and i can't deal with this. It'll be a shame for life for me if i wont solve this.. HELP ME!'

How do I get it (and my appointments / schedule) back? In its place is an empty Google calendar.

I'm new to android and have a Moto E. I had a few issues connecting to WiFi at work so am familiar with the '!' that appears against the WiFi symbol when no internet connection is available (that issue at work has been solved).
Today, at home, I tried the YouTube app for the first time just to test it out and it worked fine. After 10 minutes or so though, I received an alert telling me that I had reached 75% of my mobile data allowance, which surprised me because yesterday I had hardly used any. I checked the usage stats and it was indeed YouTube that had eaten up all the data, however, according to my phone I was connected to my home WiFi. As I hadn't previously used the app, it had to be this session that had gobbled the data.
I turned off mobile data to see if that proved it, and it seemed to, because when I turned it off, the '!' appeared against the WiFi symbol immediately, telling me I had no internet connection. I tried a few other apps and none of those worked either.
I re-started my phone and that solved it - I now had access to everything again, obviously via WiFi (because data was switched off).
My point here though is surely if WiFi isn't available I would have expected the phone to warn me that it was using data, not wait until I had shut data off before telling me that there was no alternative connection available.
Mobile data is now permanently switched off!

I have an LG G Stylo (Metro PCS) on lollipop and I recently got a notification saying I could up update my system to Marshmallow. The only issue is that I'm rooted and I don't know if this will brick my device. If anyone could help? I want to keep root but I don't know of the consequences if I do update while still rooted.

Hi my phone a motorola moto x second generation upgraded to android 6 this morning and then restarted however it has got as far as the motorola "M" powered by android screen and goes no further is their a way to reset it get it to finish loading up

Hi, I was just playing around with my LG G3, (I'm using Nova Launcher) and I found "Guest Mode". I turned it on, and it changed the screen to the default lockscreen, and then the screen just went completely blank. The led flashes blue if I press the power button, and I know I can turn the screen on and off because I can see the "Retro TV fade out effect" when I press the power button, but it is completely blank. I can't turn the phone off via the power button as nothing come up, it's completely blank. I would like to avoid anything which involves me losing all my files and data. My carrier is O2 and I got it in April 2015. Please, help me!!!

A transparent bar on my screen which moved all my icons over. I can't I can't interact with it, it's just there and it's really annoying. Does anyone know what it is and how to get rid if it?
