Error message when trying to install the latest AT&T update Posted: 02 Jun 2016 12:50 PM PDT I've been trying to download the latest update from AT&T (marshmallow I assume?) on to my HTC M8 and I get the following code after about 2-3 seconds of the update attempt: E: missing bitmap oem_unlock_bg (Code -1) E: missing bitmap oem_unlock_bg_yes (Code -1) E: missing bitmap oem_unlock_bg_no (Code -1) E: Find no match PARTITION: for package path @/cache/recover/block.map Finding update package... Opening update package... E: failed to map file Installation aborted. Any help would be much appreciated, and apologies if there are already many threads for this issue. Regards, Bod. |
Smart Switch for PC not working? Posted: 02 Jun 2016 12:49 PM PDT Downloaded smart switch on pc to do software update on Samsung tab 4. I click MORE, then EMERGENCY SOFTWARE RECOVERY AND INITIALIZATION but the next step doesn't appear. According to help center SOFTWARE UPDATE AND INITIALIZATION should appear, but nothing happens. What or where is the problem, anyone please? |
Movies On A 4:3 tablet. What's The Problem? Posted: 02 Jun 2016 12:47 PM PDT I don't understand why people complain about watching a movie on the S2 4:3 screen. The black bars are really, really black. It isn't like they're just kind of dark grey or something. And who cares anyway? Do these same people complain about the bars on the side when they're watching a full screen video on a wide screen tablet? Do they complain about bars when they're watching a 2.35:1 (approx. 21:9) movie like Star Wars on a 1.78:1 (approx. 16:9) screen? Somehow I doubt they do. This is the most ridiculous thing for people to complain about. Where do people stand? I'm curious about why people either don't care or don't like it. |
Gone To **** Since Marshmallow Posted: 02 Jun 2016 12:47 PM PDT Soooo much no longer working since v6 update:( Can anyone recommend a 'fast' launcher that still shows count badges |

Display Stays On While Talking, Puts Call on Hold Posted: 02 Jun 2016 12:38 PM PDT Most of the time when I am talking on the phone, my display will stay on. While it is not a big deal when using the speaker, it is when I have the phone pressed up to my ear. This causes the phone to recognize any touches made to the screen. So in all cases, the put on hold button gets pressed. Is this an issue for anyone else? |

Why isn't my LG phone compatible with the veryfit 2.0 app? Posted: 02 Jun 2016 12:34 PM PDT I bought an LG Sunrise L15G to sync with my smart band. I need to install veryfit 2.0 but a message from Google Play says the app is not compatible with my device. Veryfit 2.0 states that it works with Android 4.4 or above. |
Why can't i add my phone number on Facebook messenger? Posted: 02 Jun 2016 12:33 PM PDT I keep getting a message that says "error code (1)" everytime I click on ok to add my phone number to messenger. I have tried everything to fix it and I can't seem to figure it out. |
Posted: 02 Jun 2016 12:19 PM PDT 6th episode in the UK tonight. How did it go down in the States? I absolutely love it. ... but then I'm the only one who thinks I'm funny : sad face : Steve Carell and the writers (if there are writers) have really done a great job capturing the Airplane and Naked Gun type visual and punny gags. Great cast, most whom I don't know. Maybe you have to be of a certain age like me, but I hope younger people get into this as well. There's no such thing as a cheap gag imv, but a good gag can be done poorly, or a so so gag can be done really well. If you haven't seen it, try to catch it. |
Sandisk MicroSD Card can't access on phone Posted: 02 Jun 2016 12:08 PM PDT I have a Galaxy S5 active and just bought a SanDisk 128gb microSDXC UHS-I Card with adapter for my phone. It says right on the front of the box that it's ideal for Android powered phones. When I put the SD card in my phone, I cannot access it and the phone won't allow me to see it. The only thing I can do is go into Settings/System/Storage/ and go to SD Card. From there if I click Mount SD Card it give me a thing that says'... "SD Card Safe to Remove; You can Safely Remove SD Card" It won't allow me to access the card's memory. I have inserted it into my computer and moved files on and off, so I know the card is good. What am I doing wrong? I've even tried to download a few different sd card apps from the Play Store with no success. It's really depressing having spent all that money on a card and it not working. |
I used Super Su to unroot samsung galaxy SY Posted: 02 Jun 2016 12:03 PM PDT I used Super su to unroot my samsung galaxy.
