Can't connect Samsung galaxy s5 to pc with marshmallow 6.01

I've searched high and low for a solution, but nothing I've tried makes any difference....

I'm trying to transfer the pictures on my phone over to my Apple Mac using the Apple Photos app. It connects OK and will transfer the photos, but they're all mixed-up with a load of stock photos that, I believe, originated somewhere in Google. It takes ages the sift through 350+ pictures in order to find the ones I've taken. These stock pictures DON'T appear in Gallery, or in the Google Photos app, but they are always present when I try to use the Apple Photos app to move pictures onto my Mac.

My Note 4 is running the latest Marshmallow OS and all installed apps are up to date. Similarly on my Mac - it runs OSX El Capitan and all installed apps are up to date.

The problem seems to be that these unwanted pictures are somewhere on the phone and Apple's Photoa app is deciding to load them up when connected.

I've tried clearing the Gallery app cache and data, and I've tried clearing the Galaxy's system cache. Any sort of sync of photos with Google is turned off. Nothing makes any difference - those damn photos always appear on the Mac, but they're nowhere to be seen on the phone's Gallery app.

It looks like they've been left on the phone somewhere and the Apple Photos app treats them as if they were pictures that I've taken. When I connect the phone to the Mac, initially nothing happens until I change the "Use USB for" option from "transferring media files" to "transferring images", so it looks like Apple doesn't support MTP, but I don't see why this should make any difference.....

Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this. I know I could wipe the whole phone, but I don't want to do this unless its the last option.

The person calling does not hear a ring but they can hear when I answer. I can not hear anything. I am on Verizon and this is my second phone with the same problem. I have unabled advanced calling with no change in the problem. I have also done a full reset

I have rooted my phone and installed the CWM ROM Manager app, but every time I try and reboot in recovery, or install ROM from SD card in the menu the phone restarts shows the android and then crashes, I then turn on the phone agian and it boots into 'Android System recovery <3e>'

What am I doing wrong?

looking to set a song as my ringtone on the Galaxy Express Prime

Hello guys, I was wondering if someone could take the time to help me out?

I'm trying to flash the Nightowl-cm13-beta3-n7000 rom onto my N7000, but I get the error message
I also get the same error when trying to flash CyanogenMod Build 11 builds.

I did a little bit of gooling and tried the fix from androidgadgematic.com/2012/12/fix-custom-rom-installation-status-7.html of removing the first 3 lines of code, but that just give me a new error:

i accidentally press the the power button twice when it load it takes a long time to load the emui

It's more shattered from the bottom through the middle. I'd rather not buy a new phone again because of my clumsiness. the front screen is perfectly fine. I would like too know if i can keep using it?

I have the Galaxy S6. I saved a video from Fbook to my phone but cant find the location. It is NOT in My Files folder in the Samsung apps.

I have just started having this issue of my notification sound playing when I hold down the power button on my HTC one m9. Can anyone tell me how to stop it?

So when I was setting up my new S7E I was getting a pop up asking if I wanted to install a pic of myself so that when other people called or texted me, my pic show on their phone....

I kept ignoring it as i wanted to get everything installed and setup the way I wanted.... now I would like to put that pic on but can't find where to do that......

currently using a s7 edge bought from korea( bought it when i was there cause its cheaper) that now i use as my phone daily. i changed the language settings in english but my samsung pay and galaxy lab is still in korean.how do i change that. how do i let the phone know I'm in canada and not in korea
