Hi! Coming from a 2014 MotoX, just ordered the 6P in Gold. My MotoX has a Supcase Unicorn Beetle PRO Series with an integrated screen protector that I really like and has provided protection from many drops over the last year with no damage. ( Amazon.com: Supcase Unicorn Beetle PRO Series Belt Clip Holster Case for All New Motorola Moto X 2nd Generation (Black): Cell Phones & Accessories ). However, I have no intention of covering up the wonderful 6P, so I am looking for a clear case. I assume I will not be able to find a clear case that will afford the protection of the Supcase. But, I am looking for a totally clear (transparent) case with as much protection as possible. An integrated screen protector would be nice plus, but is not a requirement.

Any ideas?

Hi, so today i was charging my S6 edge, which I have had since last September, and all of a sudden, the screen went black with a little 'x' in the bottom corner with an automated TTS voice saying "Welcome to your gear VR please remove device and install necessary programs to begin". So after managing to get rid of the black screen, I went to check the charging status on the home screen drop down bar and it was no longer fast charging, rather cable charging which in my case was taking roughly double thr estimated time to 100%. Whenever I remove the cable and put it back in, my phone screen flashes black for a second or two and vibrates on and off charge as if it's making its mind up which it wants to do. It invariably launches the gear VR wizard and then charges when i fiddle with the cable. Why won't it fast charge please? And also, is this a hardware issue like my cable port is broken or more likely to be a software issue that will get sorted soon please? Any help or any information would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to Geneva this weekend and would kind of like to get it sorted before I go if possible. Thank you.

I want to update to my Galaxy S4 R970C to cyanogenmod 12.1, but sense Cricket no longer supports this phone as they switched to GSM, there are no custom ROMS (that I can find at least) that support this device. Due to this, I am wondering if I could use the build for the Sprint Galaxy S4 L720 sense the CDMA Cricket R970C is pretty much a re-branded version of that, running on the Sprint network back when Cricket was CDMA. The only experience I have with installing custom ROMS on Android devices is installing Cyanogenmod 11 on multiple Sprint Galaxy S2s, so any help/advice is appreciated. BTW the phone is already rooted, that is pretty much the first thing I do when I get any phone lol.....

Yesterday I noticed my watchs battery drained down and turned off by 9pm. Usually I have between 40-50 %. I charged it over night and in the morning I turned it on but right after the Gear logo came on the watch shut off. I thought maybe I didnt have it charging properly so I put it back on the charger and a few hours later I checked it and the watch was very hot and would not turn on. Anyone got any advise?

Hey so I've fallen in love with Merchant RPG and was wondering if anyone wanted to discuss it and/or offer suggestions on similar games :)

I personally love the lack of IAP as you actually have to play to succeed!

I've only been using sidesync since last week and it seems brilliant.
I find it particularly good for sending texts from the PC with the Galaxy S4 pluged in via USB.
I was using "MightyText" also brilliant but in the last few weeks it has become unreliable to connect with.

But Yesterday when I starting typing a message it was putting those strange characters in rather than what my keyboard requested.
I un-installed which cured it .. great .
But now this evening the problem has returned :(

Anyone had this problem and whats the cure .. cant be bothered to keep re-installing.

Hi guys, a new poster here looking your words of advice please.

I've been using a Samsung Note 2 for the past 2 or 3 years now, and as I ended my existing contract recently, I rooted it and installed Resurrection Remix rom on it as there is no official Lollipop rom for this model. (LP_v5.4.2)

Whilst I'm generally happy with how it's turned out, there are some minor issues such as error messages which pop up occasionally. However these can generally be dismissed and the phone will carry on working with no apparent ill effect.

As a result, I have been considering perhaps changing the phone, but my budget is quite limited.

The particular phones I've been researching are (in no particular order)
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3
Honor 7
Honor 5x
Umi Iron Pro
Ulefone Power
Wileyfox Swift (or Storm),
And a bit of a wild card, the Vodafone Smart Ultra 6.
I'm keen to keep to my current screen size (5.5 inches), and as my Note 2 has 2GB ROM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, I wouldn't really want to reduce these specs either.

What I'm hoping your experience and expertise can answer is, would I really see any benefit in moving to any of those phones from my Note 2 ?
My phone is generally used for texting, browsing, and viewing videos. Some very occasional gaming, but generally, just typical casual smartphone user functions.
Grateful for any advice.
