How to undo galaxy s6 update?

Posted: 14 Jun 2016 01:01 PM PDT

I went ahead with the update on my S6 and I think I've gone from Lollipop to Marshmallow? Not sure but It's freakin awful. The app display tabs are now twice the size they were and I just want things back the way they were. Honestly my phone now looks like it was meant for a 3 year old to use. I've done an internet search and there's heaps of complaints about it but no clear instruction on how to undo it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK Google won't make calls on Marshmallow

Posted: 14 Jun 2016 12:58 PM PDT

Installed Marshmallow. Did a factoy reset. When I use "OK Google" to make a phone call, it just hangs with the dots spinning. However, I can use it to call voice mail fine. It's when I use a name of a contact. Once in a while it will sit there for a few minutes and then finally call. I've wiped the cache and storage from that app, turned Now cards off/on and everything else but it still hangs. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance..

T-Mobile pushing MOB OTAs?

Posted: 14 Jun 2016 12:49 PM PDT

Maybe happy news. I just noticed a few people on a Nexus 6 subreddit saying that they've received the latest MOB builds via OTA from T-Mo and Project Fi:

"I got two consecutive updates yesterday, though I was already on May. The first was another May and then the June on T-mobile. (MOB30I, MOB30M)"

Wipe cache

Posted: 14 Jun 2016 12:44 PM PDT

I have 2 year old instructions on how to clean the cache. I just tried it because I upgraded to Marshmallow. I last used it after I upgraded to Lollipop. It gave me strange screens so I interrupted the process. How do I clean the cache with Marshmallow? Thanks.

Why does my S7 Edge S Voice keep opening while I am at my desk and the phone is locked

Posted: 14 Jun 2016 12:43 PM PDT

While sitting at my desk, I have my phone next to my on a charging pad. During conference calls ,S voice initiates while I am talking on the phone (landline). The phone is locked, and I am not touching it. I did set up a password to open the phone form locked, however that work (3 syllables) has not been mentioned. today, while in a meeting with the phone in my pocket, the S voice opened during the meeting. Help?

Install S7 930F firmware on S7 930FD?

Posted: 14 Jun 2016 12:31 PM PDT

I recently bought a Galaxy S7 930FD device. I noticed some differences from the 930F version. Is there a way to convert the FD device to run similar software as the F?
There aren't that many differences in appearance, but still, I noticed several. Even the Samsung keyboard is different.

Why can i not get or send text off my onetouch Android

Can make and get calls

1080p

Posted: 14 Jun 2016 12:23 PM PDT

The OnePlus 3 has a 5.5" 1080p OLED display, affording a resolution of 400ppi. For most purposes at least that will easily be sharp enough, but would you have preferred a quadHD display, perhaps for VR, at the expense of greater battery consumption?

Contact pictures from in-coming/out-going calls does not show up.

Posted: 14 Jun 2016 12:21 PM PDT

I just updated my Note 4 (Verizon) to Marshmallow today. Since doing the update I no longer see most of my contacts profile pictures showing up when i call out or when i recieve a call. I am not the only one, because my Mom is complaining my picture does not show up when i call her and she did the Marshmallow update a few weeks ago on her S5. You can see the pictures on their contact profile or the direct dial widget, but when actually calling the screen either goes white, where the pic should be, or a profile outline (like if you have no pic loaded for the contact) shows up. It seems to not matter if the picture is saved to the profile from the phone or if the picture comes from the google profile. I do NOT have Facebook contacts or anything else synced.

I have gone through and cleared cash throughout multiple google, contact, etc. applications. I even deleted the data from the Contacts application and then resynced through Google+ with no luck. I also went into boot mode and wiped the cash there as well. Multiple restarts have also been done throughout the attempt to fix this issue.

I cannot seem to find this issue anywere on the internet or I am not searching with the correct verbiage. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

LG V10 MM Phone stays awake, Data icon wont go away, batter drain

Posted: 14 Jun 2016 12:19 PM PDT

Hey guys, I've been an android user since like forever, but I cant seem to figure this phone out.

I received the Android 6.0 OTA, updated, did a factory reset afterwards, and now the phone is way worse than it was on 5.1.

For starters, the data icon wont go away, even when it's disabled. I cant really tell if that is a design option or just a bug.

GSAM tells me that the the phone is staying awake most of the time (i.e. from a 18 hours runtime, 16 hours the phone is awake)
It wont tell me what is keeping the phone awake as I havent rooted it nor do I plan to (yet)
And of course, the battery drains horribly fast.
I've tried everything, fresh start after another factory reset, no sync, restricted data, uninstalling apps, and so on. but the problem wont go away.

Also, its me or the sensor next to the camera gets scratched really really fast?

Greenify doesnt help either, thoughts? have any of you guys experienced the same?
