AA calling home phone. Code required to check messages. Posted: 20 Jun 2016 01:28 PM PDT Using AA to call my home phone. When my home phone answers it requires a 3 digit code to be entered from the car's touch screen phone keypad to access messages. That keypad only seems to work when in park. Anyway to enter the 3 digit code from AA on my 2016 Honda Civic touchscreen phone keypad without being parked so i can check my home messages while on the road? |
T-Mobile Tuesday tomorrow (6/21) comes with $20 of free stuff on MLB.com Posted: 20 Jun 2016 01:25 PM PDT I just got off the phone with Tmo for an unrelated topic, and during the call they mentioned that part of the Tuesday promo tomorrow they are going to give out $20 to spend on MLB.com. Wanted to pass that along.... |
Posted: 20 Jun 2016 01:20 PM PDT I have never tried a smart watch. Mainly because they all seem to crazy over sized. I have small hands and wrist. I giant obtrusive watch would annoy me. I have looked at the s2 and seen a few people's and it's the perfect size. As far as functionality how does it perform. What's the pros and cons? I know I can read a bunch of reviews, I rather ask people who have them. Also I have the HTC 10 how easily does it pair to other phones. Posted via the Android Central App |
iOS to Android: OnePlus 3, Nexus 5X, Nexus 2016 Posted: 20 Jun 2016 01:20 PM PDT Hi guys, Long time iOS user here. I've had iPhones for the last 5.5 years and I've got that feeling that my 2.5 year old 5S is going to die soon. I always buy my phones upfront because it works out cheaper and especially with android you get more options. I'm not really looking to spend more than £350 ($500) which is why I don't want another iPhone. I can't justify the extra expense. I usually have a phone for somewhere around 2 years. 2 years ago I had a Nexus 5 for 24 hours... let's just say I didn't really give it a chance. The 5X is appealing because it is has a 5.2 inch display (closer to my dinky 5S) and is plummeting in price. The OnePlus 3 is something that caught my eye last week... top end specs and great value at £300. I'm just a bit concerned that it could take ages for OxygenOS to get 7.0 Nutella like the delay I read about of OnePlus users getting Marshmallow. I think I prefer the more stock android experience too. But hey what do I know as an iOS diehard! The third option is of course to wait and see what new Nexus devices hit the shelves in September. My 5S might make it that long... who knows. Are there any phone I'm missing that could fit the bill? Are Samsung Galaxy devices or the Nexus 6P worth the extra cash? I'm a pretty heavy user all day. |
change the accuweather to a weekly view Posted: 20 Jun 2016 01:18 PM PDT Want a weekly view of the weather instead of just a daily view |
Posted: 20 Jun 2016 01:03 PM PDT I've never done one on my phone (owned it since early 14') and I'm having battery issues. I get around 1- 1 1/2 hrs of sot now if I'm lucky (set at 55% brightness). According GSam 15% discharge while on but 48% while off (under screen info). Other ideas if not doing a factory reset.? |

Posted: 20 Jun 2016 12:56 PM PDT LG-E475f don't accept the recovery tool, stop at 4% all the time. It's not the first time, but earlyer i've allways solve the problem. Not this time. If anybody can help me... |
Using the car's touchscreen to enter home phone access codes. Posted: 20 Jun 2016 12:52 PM PDT How can I use the telephone keypad on the car's touch screen in Android Auto to enter the 3 number access code required when calling a home phone, so that I can get messages? The keypad on the car's touchscreen doesn't seem to work when the car is moving. |
Posted: 20 Jun 2016 12:48 PM PDT Today well using my Galaxy S5 it powered itself off battery was still charged and when I turn the device back on it completely wiped itself. My biggest concern is I had pictures on the device that I thought were loaded on the card but it appears they were not is there a way I can get those pictures back? Second question why do the device power off and wipe itself without me performing a command? |
Samsung repair replacing mother board, good or bad? Posted: 20 Jun 2016 12:47 PM PDT So I sent in my Note 5 due to a faulty headphone port thinking it would be fixed from the warranty, but since it had physical damage of a broken camera lens from falling, it was out of warranty, but they said they would fix the lens, headphone port, and give me a new S pen for $71. So hell yeah, good deal. But now i find out that they replaced the LCD with no charge and are waiting on a new motherboard for the phone as well. I am not sure what this all means and if it is good or bad? It doesn't seem like they're going to make me pay for all this since they've already done it without my approval. I am basically getting a new phone, right? Thanks! |
why is my LG G4 stuck on LG screen? Posted: 20 Jun 2016 12:45 PM PDT My old LG G4 was stuck in a boot loop, so I gave it to Sprint, and they gave me a new phone in about 4-5 days, only missing my contacts and pictures. I was a bit bummed out, because I hadn't backed up the files, but I got over it. The new phone they gave me was supposed to have no more boot loop, and everything was supposedly fixed. For the most part, it was fixed, and I took a trip to New York and Washington D.C. for school. The day I got back, I went to my dad's house to go show the pictures, and my phone got stuck on the LG screen. It doesn't look like it is stuck in a boot loop, because it doesn't do anything but stay on this screen. I didn't have time to back up any of my new photos, because I just got home. Is this just another boot loop, when Sprint told me they fixed it, or is it something relating to hardware? |
Posted: 20 Jun 2016 12:45 PM PDT Hi ive been hearing a lot of people having issues with Marshmallow in the U.S.A. especially battery performance/drain ive had my s6 edge just over a month now my previous device being a galaxy j5 with great battery life so when i got my shiny s6 edge out of its box and turned it on it notified me straight away update available.....i hesitated for a second as i heard about the issues but went for it anyway....it seemed rude not to after all we'd only just met!! However i can honestly say my battery is not too bad at all here in the U.K. ive had 2 more updates (i dont know what they're called if anything i'm still running Marshmallow......maybe Marshmallow sandwitch)! and it has improved battery performance a bit but i never really have had an issue i know the more high end the device the more battery consumption ( ah the days of not having to charge my old Nokia for at least a week)! others here in the U.K. not having much problem with Marshmallow waiting with baited breath for N!! :) |
