Can anyone tell me what this bubble/icon is? and how can I erase it or disable it Posted: 05 Feb 2016 11:37 AM PST This morning I found on my Note 4 a strange bubble or icon that I cannot delete or disable and if i click it it disables my phone. After this I need to take the battery off to reset it and gain control of it again. If I turn off the phone it's ok for a short time but it pops on again. I wish I could upload a screen capture to show you what it looks like. Here is the description: It looks like a remote control for a tv and it's a bubble like the one that you find for facebook messenger. Any help would be appreciated. |

Is 2 GB of RAM enought for multitasking in business environment? Posted: 05 Feb 2016 11:33 AM PST Hey, Now, I have iPhone 5s 16 GB. It works great, but I hate its limitations - syncing only with iTunes, sending/receiving files via Bluetooth with other iphones only, 40s long own ringtone etc. I'm so confused. I pay huge prices and I get gadget with limited features. So I'm thinking about switching to Android and Google's eco system. The most important question for me is: Is 2 GB of RAM enough for multitasking in business environment? I mean switching between mail client, Word document and browser. In iOS, I can easily do that without any lags or freezes. I expect the same situation on Android. But I don't know which smartphone is for me. Galaxy S6? HTC One M9? I'm lost :(. I hear that working on smartphone with Android and 2 GB of RAM isn't comfortable, especially when the phone is Galaxy S5/S6. May someone confirm this sentence? |
Posted: 05 Feb 2016 11:33 AM PST I have an HTC droid incredible with gingerbread 2.3.4. What version could I root it with? How would I do it (never tried rooting) and where would I find it? Also, do you all think it would be worth trying? Thanks. |
Moveable watermark dot on screen Posted: 05 Feb 2016 11:25 AM PST I got a galaxy s5 for christmas and a few days ago a strange watermark appeared on top of the phone. It still functions fine but the dot is annoying and when i tap and hold i can move it and if i just tap it it darkens the screen and then the phone doesn't respond to the touch screen but the home, back, and recent tabs keys still work. |
I already asked a question and didn't get a reply about why I can't delete pictures. Posted: 05 Feb 2016 11:25 AM PST I can't delete multiple or single pictures because the trash can doesn't come up. How can I delete them? |
Samsung Galaxy Gear VR app has made my Note 5 unuseable... Help! Posted: 05 Feb 2016 11:23 AM PST I've been using my Galaxy Note 5 since August and everything was working well until this week. Suddenly, the Galaxy Gear VR setup wizard keeps opening and freezing my phone. Typically, i'm unable to close the app without doing a soft reset. Things I've done to try and fix this: - i have uninstalled Galaxy Gear, but the VR setup wizard continues to open - i have factory reset my phone, but within a few minutes the VR setup wizard was back My phone also seems to think it's charging when it's not. Please Help!!! I'm ready to throw this phone out the window. :'( |
New Droid user - few questions Posted: 05 Feb 2016 11:22 AM PST Hey all, just switched over from a Samsung. So far I like this a lot but some things are very different and I haven't been able to find or figure out how to do a few things if they are even possible. Any guidance on the below would be a great help. Thanks in advance. 1. Whenever I get a notification from downloaded apps (not built in ones like sms, phone, or email) I get the chosen notification tone but it always vibrates too. How do I turn off the vibrating? 2. I like the NEXT lock screen but with my company policy I'm forced to have the default lock screen enabled. Is there a way to remove the swipe screen so I don't have to swipe twice, or is there a way to add weather, a flashlight, some other buttons to the default swipe screen? How about having different images on the lock screen as apposed to the home screens. Looks like I figured out everything else on my list. Thanks again for any solutions. |
Posted: 05 Feb 2016 11:13 AM PST Hello dear friends :) My name is Adam and I'm 22 old student of Computer Science. Currently I am working as junior sysadmin, so I'm pretty satisfied with my life and career. Anyway, it's just a job. My hobbies are completely different: these are history, astronomy and philosophy. I own newtonian telescope and I love watching stars :3, especially with my girlfriend :). Yaa, I'm so romantic :) Aaaaah, greetings from Poland :) If I did a mistake, forgive me. It's a bit confusing that I speak natively in one of the most difficult languages in the word (Polish), while in much easier language I make mistakes. I hope you will accept me warmly :) Adam |
