One of my laptops is currently having a problem with its wi-fi connection. It keeps dropping the wireless connection, but I have as yet not managed to work out why. So today I went searching online for diagnostic tools to help me isolate the problem. One such useful tool is Wireless Connection Info, from the always-excellent Nir Sofer and his Nirsoft site.

You'll find this particular tool here at the NirSoft site . it's a tiny download of less than 0.1 MB. It doesn't need installing, is malware-free according to VirusTotal and Web of Trust, and works just fine on Windows 7, 8 and 10.
