I'm trying to eliminate duplicate information entered under my contacts. But I also want to make sure I can retrieve all of my contact information if I get a new phone, regardless of the wireless service providers. So should I save as a Google contact or a Cloud contact? What is the difference between the two? Pros and Cons?

Looking for advice on that. This is actually my wife's phone - I have a much older one (LG Optima) that I also ran into some data storage issues with that I managed to solve.

A bit frustrating that I'm having issues figuring this one out.

We started getting the "Low on Memory" message about a week and a half ago, available memory was showing as somewhere around 30-50 MB) and my wife started removing a few things, but wasn't able to get enough out to clear out the error.

I started playing with it once she ran out of ideas and cleared out a ton. It was storing photos locally, so we cleared those out, we cleared out a bunch of non-essential apps and moved a few others to the SD Card.

This brought the available memory up to about 500 MB, so I figured we were good. The next day the available memory went back down to around 50 MB and the error started up again.

I did a bit more digging and cleared out the "Recent Calls" and Text Messaging history (both of which went back about a year and a half to when the phone was new). Pulled some more app data out and got the available memory up to around 600 MB.

Except now it seems to go back and forth from around 400 MB or so down to about 35 MB or so. When it's on the high-end of that the warning doesn't show up, but on the low end it does.

I'm kind of at a loss with this - one of the things I did while clearing out app data was cleared caches from some apps, I expect that to come back, but not to the level that we're seeing and certainly not so fast.

It also seems odd that it's going back and forth so much on the available memory.

Any ideas? LMK if any specific info is helpful.

I am attempting to access private mode on my Samsung S6 active that the display has gone out on. I want retrieve the stuff from private mode but do not know how to access it through the computer. How do I access private mode through the my computer?

To my regret, I have recently upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S5neo to marshmallow 6.0.1. Google play music used to work flawlessly but is now constantly stopping after around two songs. I've tried pretty much everything including reducing RAM usage, notifications, S voice listening and a complete factory reset. With zero results! Does anyone one know what is the cause of this problem? As it's driving me insane and I do not wish to end my unlimited play subscription.

I like to create a weather&clock widget for my Honor 5x desktop that would stay there on the home screen.I was able to do this with my other phone,but after knocking out my brains I just can't figure how to do it.There must be a way,but how?

Using the standard Galaxy Exchange sync client I cannot send email through my company's Exchange server when I am connected to a WiFi hotspot. If I shut off WiFi and connect to Verizon 4G and resend the email it goes through.

I installed the MS Outlook client and that does not duplicate the problem (mail sends correctly no matter how I am connected).

Others in my company with the same phone have experienced the exact same issue. Galaxy Note 4 does not duplicate the problem. Galaxy S5 does duplicate the problem.

The boss has this problem and wants it fixed before he goes on vacation.

I accidently disabled contacts in app manager
And now the phone and contact icon disappeared from the home screen and menu as well
I enabled it again but nothing worked

I want to sideload the entire image via OTA. Do I need to take a stepped approach loading MOB30M (June) before loading July's MOB30O? I'm thinking the latest should include everything that was in June's update since it's the entire image.
