I recently rooted my Samsung J700F successfully. Installed TWRP custom recovery and then flashed a CyanogenMod with Gapps on it using the recovery. Now, whenever I power on my device, A Samsung logo with model name pops up for 2-3 seconds and then there is a black screen and nothing happens. I have waited for 10-15 minutes, rebooted again, cleared cache partition but nothing works. Please help.

OK, so what is the secret to getting the notification shade to stay down after swiping down on the lock screen? I've tried just about everything and it seems pretty random... sometimes it stays down and sometimes it just slides back up again.

Every time I think I have it figured out it proves me wrong.... again ;)

Sometimes notifications come in correctly and clearly. Other times get a partial notification sound...like a short bleep. Other times the text comes in with no sound at all. I have a Motorola Turbo 2 which I've had less than a month and it's been doing this after the second to last update.

When prompted to allow access (example access to my photos and videos) I couldn't even click on allow but if I click deny there wasn't a problem.. Unfortunately for a GPS based game I need to allow the app access to my location which it wouldn't let me.. Help please.. And thank you

no internet connection when cell signal is not 80 to 100%

So yesterday my phone got pretty much obliterated. It still powers on, no display on the screen and when I plug it into the computer there is no way to get into the phone, so USB debugging must be disabled. It is not rooted. Is there anything I can do to get these files off the phone?

The phone is wayyyyyyy too slick. I really need to get a skin for it, as I just had it slide off the table on the charger, and it fell and bent the charger. That's 5 I've gone through now due to tha . Granted I should be more careful, but still frustrating nonetheless.

I have noticed that each time I place a call my data connection drops down to 3G or H. Once the call is complete the data reconnects to LTE. Also I am starting to experience dropped calls. Is there a correlation? I am with T-mobile. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

Am looking to switch from iOS. The Google Maps on my 5C does not have the option, but it was supposedly an update to Google Maps earlier this year which allows you to set it so voice navigation won't play over phone calls on Bluetooth:

I am looking for any way possible to keep voice navigation from talking over my Bluetooth while on phone calls. I fiddled with a Galaxy S7 in a Verizon store and toggling off "media audio" in Bluetooth settings did not accomplish it. Neither did turning off "play voice over Bluetooth" in Google Maps settings. With both turned off, voice navigation would still play over a phone call. I wasn't aware of the above update by Google Maps and didn't think to look for it.

Is it an Android-specific feature? That would seal the deal for jumping to the S7.

Galaxy s5 here and i got a mandatory update that wouldnt stop auto downloading so yeah. I cant edit any of the settings i was used to. Especially what power saver does. Its just an on or off option now.

Why does it have to restrict background data (and) wifi? I dont need everything stopping when im on wifi. Even soundcloud just pauses when it wants to until i turn it off. Quite annoying. Why not let us decide what power saver does like last time :)

When I am in a message and tap a picture to see it full screen, I can't go back to the message. I can't go back to messages at all. The picture has a save icon in upper right, but no other option to reduce/get out of the picture. I can't get the image out of full screen mode without shutting down the phone and restarting. I can hit the home button and get out of messages and do other things, but if I go back to try to look at any messages, the picture is still on the screen. Is there a fix?
