It boots right up to home screen and says invalid card in left corner. How do I unlock with codes I purchased without that screen not coming up after powered on? Please help! |
I tried using lock to reset my backup password on my Samsung Galaxy S5. Still cannot unlock it Posted: 29 Feb 2016 01:06 PM PST I am unable to use fingerprint swipe to unlock. I tried that last night and it forced me to enter my backup password which I cannot remember. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 new in the end of December, 2015. I do not get home screen display with fingerprint swipe or anything other than "enter backup password", a keyboard and "emergency call". Is the only thing left a factory reset? |

How to disable some numbers from automatically linking to dialer? For example, if I create an event in email and for location I put "8885551234;666# in room 333," for iphone it will make automatically dial the phone number and the extension, but for Android, it adds 333 to the phone number. Is they a way to put some separater so the calendar knows to only make some numbers dialable? |

I tried to go in Recovery Mode but when I press Power + Up Volume + Home Bottoms appers the blue message in the corner but my phone reboot again, appears Samsung logo with the blue message in the corners and reboot again... Well, I decided to flash an original room using Odin. First I used a KitKat original Room ATT&T, it appeared PASS but the same problem. Then I Used a Lollipop original Room, it appeared FAIL and the phone stuck in a message like I had to connect using Kies and something like that. I reflash with KitKat Room and the problem returned. Well, I need help with this and I know this website it's very important and useful. Thanks for for your advance. PD. Sorry for my English, isn't my natural language . |

If I understand correctly, after I have encrypted my tablet it is impossible to change the sign-on password without doing a factory reset. Is this correct? I am also surprised that Google apps do not allow me to sign-out, so that if anyone accessed my tablet they have instant access to my email and calendar. Am I missing something? Thanks, Ivan |

HTC One M9, latest HTC Sense Update, Facebook Sync Issues Posted: 01 Mar 2016 01:08 PM PST This is really a minor issue but it's pretty annoying. Facebook sync was previously syncing my contact photos with people's profile pictures. For about 3 months now it hasn't been working at all. Matter of fact when I look at the Facebook Account under the Sync setting it has none of the checkbox options to sync anything like the other accounts. I have tried the following: Logged out of Facebook Removed the HTC Sense app permissions on Facebook Ensured Facebook Platform is enabled Removed the Facebook account on the sync settings Re-added the Facebook account Re-logged into Facebook Re-approved the HTC sense permissions Screenshot of what my Facebook account looks like. It's just blank. No more options to sync. Need battery draining app issue help Posted: 01 Mar 2016 01:07 PM PST I am now using a T-Mobile GS-7 Edge. I have had this issue on two GS-6 and a GS-5. This is my third operating system. On kitkat I was fine, on lollipop the issue started and stayed up to current day. An application is causing my apps not to auto update even though I have all of my setting to auto update. They will sit in a "pending" status. I can watch my battery draining and feel my phone heat up until I go in and force update my apps in the play store. I can't figure out which app is causing the issue. I've removed all of my old apps. Is there a diagnostic tool or someone out there that can help? Google tech support, T-Mobile store associates and phone tech support cannot figure out what is causing this. I'm despite and about to switch to Apple. |

I tried looking up some tips on factory resetting the phone, but the phone just keeps rebooting and showing that same screen. I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else who owns the device. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I have noticed that when I move out of Bluetooth range of my phone, the watch won't connects remotely and when I come back within Bluetooth range of the phone the watch will not automatically reconnect via Bluetooth. It remains on " Gear only" setting (even when the phone and the watch are sitting right next to one another- it used to take seconds to pair back again one from each other). It used to work fine, but after the Samsung mgr update everything went wrong. I really like this watch and it was fine when I bought it. I did everything : Uninstall Samsung Gear app mgr, Reset the watch, unpaired watch from phone, paired again. what else can I do????. I want to think that this still the best watch ever. |

wireless charging not working on one charger Posted: 01 Mar 2016 12:42 PM PST My wireless charger just stopped working. I have not had any problem until last night. I could not get it to "connect" no matter what position I placed my phone. Tried turning on the daydream feature that I had read needed to be turned on. But, nothing. My phone charged just fine on my other wireless charger in my office earlier in the day. also charged just fine with the cord. This seems like a dumb question...but, is it my wireless charger that has gone bad...it is fairly new....or, is there something that I am missing? |

Why can my HTC One m9 only halfway see my usb drive? Posted: 01 Mar 2016 12:33 PM PST I recently updated to marshmallow and now my apps (solid explorer and 3c toolbox) cannot even see that my usb drive is there when I plug it in. I have tried 2 different adapters, no go. I tried plugging it into the computer and it can be read fine. If I go to storage it will show up and let me navigate through it but my apps won't even notice it at all. I am used to backing up my apps in this fashion and need to solve this quickly. The notification says it is plugged in for media transfer. I have also tried assigning a drive letter and using usb debugging mode as well as paying for the otg plugin for solid explorer - which did nothing. Please help me figure this out as it is a very important part of my backup process! Thanks ahead of time guys! BTW its in FAT32. |

SMS Notifications not working after 5.1.1 Upgrade Posted: 02 Mar 2016 12:48 PM PST I use Messenger+ as my default SMS app. Two days ago, the 5.1.1 upgrade (first Lollipop upgrade to my phone) was pushed to Sony Xperia Z3. Now, the SMS notification does not stay in my top bar. It appears momentarily then disappears. The message count on my home screen also doesn't increment. It's a'most as if the message is being instantly marked as read. Has anyone else experienced something like this? A few months back i had rooted it because i had to backup some lost photos, and after that i unrooted it again. After that, the problems began. I can't access my settings. It just says "Unfortunately, com.android.settings has stopped". If I try to turn on my WiFi, it doesn't open and it gives the same message. So, I'm able to connect only to the networks I had connected to earlier, because it does it automatically. I tried to do a factory reset, but it was still on 0% after I had left it for 2 hours. Changing the method in which a phone or tablet collects GPS data Posted: 02 Mar 2016 12:25 PM PST My company is involved in the manufacturing of an app that records NFC scans. Several pieces of data are associated with the scans, one of which is the GPS coordinates in which the NFC tag was scanned. Lately we have been testing our app (we have been using a Tagital tablet with Android version 4.4.2 and an LG G2 with Android version 5.0.2) and we have been getting several incorrect reads. One very baffling example in particular involved several scans that were made today in a period of about 2 minutes. The first several scans were listed as being in the correct location, however the last scan that was made was listed as being in a location 30 miles away. The scans were made all in the same spot, and there was only a few seconds separating the incorrect scan with the previous scan. My question is what exactly on the device is gathering the GPS data? Is it strictly a hardware thing? Or is there software or apps involved that determine where you are at a given time, and if so is there a way to change the software that gathers the GPS data? I am aware that you can set a device to High Accuracy, Battery Saving (Wi-Fi only) or Device only (GPS only) modes in order for the phone to obtain the GPS coordinates, but my question has to do with the actual mechanism in the device that is gathering the data. Are there any other suggestions/quick fixes that could potentially solve this issue with inaccurate GPS reads? |

Now, you can prove this with Ampere.    Measure the charging and discharging current of your battery. It offers hundreds of channels, covering everything from classical to Celtic to rock. It's free to access and is supported by advertising. You can listen without registering, but if you do sign up (which is free) then you won't hear so many ads. Best of all, Accuradio's user interface is slick, clean and fast, making it very easy to find the type of music you like listening to. And if you do happen to hear a song by an artist that you really don't like, you can ban that artist and you'll never hear from them again on the site. Read More |
