I was wondering if there is an app available that can do all of these:
1. An inbuilt function to access YouTube from the internet, then directly download the videos as MP3 or MP4 files into a folder on the app
2. Able to import songs into the device via a cloud service, like ICloud, Dropbox or Drive (this is for videos that produce strange errors and fail to download directly)
3. Songs can be renamed and alphabetically organized in the main library of the app AND the playlists (meaning individual playlists also come equipped with alphabetical organization)
4. Is able to play in the background, and with the screen off as well
5. Able to backup library and playlists to a computer or internet storage when wifi is present (in case I lose the iPod)
I looked at iFile; it doesn't seem to have function (1) which I would find really convenient.
I also got Filza, but my issue was that 1) you couldn't organise songs in individual playlists by alphabetical order and 2) It sometimes loses connection to background transfer service

I ordered a Deep Stretch extended battery for my lg g4 and after aquiring the battery and equipping it the phone says the battery is invalid and shuts off. Is there any way to negate this? And if so how?
I have a Moto G4. Basically, when trying to phone my parents' house phone (landline number) it connects to my mum's mobile instead, even though it shows the landline number on the call screen and recent contacts. This happens even when I manually dial the number instead of going through contacts.
My mum left her mobile at my apartment, which has run out of battery, so now when trying to call home, I receive a Tesco Mobile voicemail message.
I imagine this is a glitch and has something to do with contact details for my mum including the house phone somewhere. Only thing is, it doesn't show the house phone under my mum in contacts, only her mobile. Likewise contact for "Home" just lists the landline number. I've tried deleting the contacts and it still happens.
Any ideas how to solve this? It's really annoying because I can't get through to my mum since she left her mobile at my place!
I had to log back in on my computer and drive as they'd somehow become logged out. After reviewing my account devices it's seems my account is reporting an unused device (previous Android mobile) is syncing with my account.
I have revoked trusted devices, and changed my password but it's still showing as connecting.
Strangely my current mobile and other devices haven't yet told me my password is out of date and needs to be re-entered which is rather worrying.
There's no option to remove or revoke this device.
How can I force all devices to have to log back in with the new password to ensure security of my account?
How can I remove/block this rogue device?
Why has a change in password not kicked all devices and apps from my account?

The trojan software spreads via a malicious email attachment. Click on the attachment, and a program gets installed on your computer which routes all your internet traffic through the hackers' server which happens to be on the anonymous Tor network. So although it appears that you're talking to your bank's web site, you're actually connected to the hackers' server which is doing a fine job of impersonating the bank. Except that it's also capturing all the usernames and passwords that you enter.
Security experts always advise that you never type confidential data such as banking passwords into a web site unless that site is using encryption, which will be obvious because of the padlock symbol on your browser and the https:// (the s stands for secure) at the start of the web address. But the hackers managed to find a way around this, by using the trojan software to install a "rogue certificate" file on the victims' computers. A certificate tells a computer which servers and sites to trust. So when you see the https:// and the padlock symbol, this is merely showing you that your computer has been persuaded to trust the criminals' fake bank website.
Sigcheck, a free utility from SysInternals, will scan your PC and look for suspicious certificate files that have been installed. If it finds any, you can then uninstall them via standard means within Windows. Read More

I an not much of a techy, but I like to listen to audio books and read on my android tablet. There are so many apps on it, some my kids have added, others came on it. I'd like to remove or disable as many as possible, but I keep getting messages imply bad things will happen if I remove or disable one or another.
This is probably a tough and unfair question, but has anyone stumbled across an android (mp3) music player that if stopped, will remember where in a track to resume playing?
I tend to listen to podcasts in mp3 format and my stock player restarts at the beginning of the track if shut down in the middle of a track.
I can't seem to unlock my phone on a consistent basis with fingerprint scanner like I could on my nexus 6p. Sometimes it works instantly like it should and other times I lock myself out completely.
I've tried deleting, rebooting and re-entering my prints and even adding the same finger twice but it's still crap.
Anyone else have this issue or is it just me? I'm on b29 BTW.
For some reason my wifi keeps turning off and on by itself. It is making my phone hot and running down my battery. I have restarted the phone and it still does not help. Any Ideas as to what is going on?
I want to use Facebook Messenger as my default SMS app, (1 less app to have for messaging on my home screen).
I can set it as my default app through its settings & it becomes default but as soon as I switch my phone on & off its not default anymore. Not a big problem but just annoying. I've had a mess about in its permissions & even disabled my default SMS app (stock Android 6 own). I have a Moto G 4th Gen. Fully update with 6.0.1 July security updates.
I downloaded vlc which i love and have had on all my phones and pcs but it keeps crashing. Anyone else get it to run? And anyone know any other way to play wma music files on this phone? First phone I have ever had that couldn't play them somehow. And I have quite a lot of them.

While cleaning up contacts today, i removed and re-added all accounts (gmail & outlook exchange activesync).
Since then, my outlook calendar is not visible in s planner. I can select to view my samsung calendars & my google calendars but my outlook calendars are not in the list to select.
Anyone have any idea why this is? Permissions all look ok, ive removed and added the accounts a few times now and restarted the device but no still have no resolution

Since it is nearly impossible to send Google feedback, I must say I am disappointed in the Google Pixel XL. I waited nearly 3-4 weeks to receive my device. I finally receive it and I must say overall, the device is awesome. HOWEVER, I only was able to use it for maybe 2 hours before it randomly rebooted and got stuck in a reboot loop. I contacted Support and they led me through steps for wiping the device and starting over. Definitely was not happy that I had to do that but apparently that is the only option. Fast forward a few more hours and guess what? It happens AGAIN! So, with no other options, I wipe the device again and start over. Guess what? A few hours later it happened AGAIN! THREE times! I contact Google and ask what I can do. They want me to send me BRAND NEW device in for repairs - which can take 3-4 weeks before they determine whether or not to send a new device or send the repaired device back to me. This is a brand new phone, I shouldn't be having this issue. Why is it taking 3-4 weeks? Why would I want a clearly defective device back? Google told me they have no additional stock for a new device replacement and it would take 3-4 weeks to get a new device even if they were allowed to replace it with a new one. How do you not have stock to purely deal with warranty issues?
I was really looking forward to having this device but waiting 3-4 weeks is not acceptable for a "repair" or replacement. I've decided to return the device and get a refund. I must say for Google, I expected a LOT better customer service and processes. Being pushed away from a great device is a bummer. I wish there was a better resolution. I still would like the device but I guess it was not meant to be.
Does anyone know where the backup files are stored on the phone? My phone is rooted so I would like to copy them to my sd card so I can pair my s2 with my work phone without losing everything.
I recently put Bluetooth into an old boombox from the eighties. It works great, except with my galaxy s4. Bluetooth keeps on disconnecting and rapidly reconnecting whenever I try to stream via Google play music or YouTube for example. It works fine with local files. As I have a poor Internet connection, music takes some time to start streaming, that's when it disconnects. So it is clearly related to the time it takes before a song starts playing. But pausing a song works fine, and it stays connected when nothing is playing for hours. It works fine on my tablet though, even when music has to buffer 30+ seconds before it starts playing.
It must be related to my phone, it has the original Samsung lollipop firmware but it is rooted and has xposed installed (of course). A factory reset is not an option, I have done way too many tweaks for that.
Has anyone been having this problem? Is it possible to install a newer/different Bluetooth firmware? Or does anyone know an app/ xposed module targeting this problem?
I would like to send a group text without picking them individually from EVERY CONTACT IN THE LIST. Any remedy, like a different app or is this inherent in 6.0.1
I'm not giving up my Note 7 without a fight and am holding out until the Note 8 comes out, unless they brick the 7 of course.
I have to fly this weekend so I can't take my Note 7 with me. I have a Gear S2 smartwatch with mobile data and I also have a Samsung tablet sitting around. Anyone have any ideas on how I could connect my tablet to my smartwatch (bluetooth?) so that I can use them together while traveling for a few days? I guess I could buy a burner phone for the trip but if my Gear watch can be utilized then I'd rather try that. Thanks for any help you can offer me and no, I'm not turning my Note 7 in because if it hasn't melted my face off yet then I'm sure it's not one from the bad batches that were made.;)

I'm a Note 7 Rebel owner and am not giving it back until the Note 8 comes out. In the meantime, I have to fly to another state and because of the ban of the Note 7's on planes, how can I utilize my Gear S2 to temporarily be my main form of communication while I'm away on travel? I have a Samsung Tablet that only uses WiFi, but could I use my watch to bluetooth with my tablet to text and use mobile data in that manner?
I just need help and ideas for a solution to not being able to take my Note 7 on a flight but somehow making a great use with my Gear S2 watch and its mobile data.
I'm running out of room/memory on my Galaxy S5 and several friends recommended that I get a micro SD card. But there are so many to choose from and I want one that is compatible with my phone and won't cause any problems. Any suggestions as to the best SD card, whether brand or certain kind, etc.? Any suggestions/advice/tips would be helpful, like link(s), etc.! My phone is refurbished, but I don't know if this affects anything.
