Posted: 20 Nov 2016 01:11 PM PST Did anyone buy an unlocked V20 and activate with their T-Mobile sim? I've heard mixed things about whether wi fi calling works on Verizon with the unlocked model. Wondering if there were any issues with wi fi calling or other features with the unlocked version and T-Mobile. Can anyone chime in on the unlocked variant using T-Mobile service? Thanks! |

The Email application that is next to gmail, is application of Samsung; I wanted to send a message with some photos, but the message is not as I would like to be. I mean that it should be, text - photo - text - photo etc. The message is always what you see. You can not paste the photos from the clipboard. Just installed Android Nougat Manually! One of the best battery saving features now in Nougat is the background refresh Data Saver where you can restrict apps to not use any background data unless they are open and in the foreground just like how iOS does:  |

Now all that i can see on the hidden menu ( power plus volume down) is : *** software status: modified *** ***LOCKED*** ***SECURITY WARNING *** M8_UL PVT SHIP S-ON HBOOT-3.19.0.0000 RADIO-1.29.214500021.12G OpenDSP-v51.2.2-00593-M8974_FO.1015 OS-6.12.401.4 eMMC-boot 2048mb Dec 17 2015, 14:15:48.13015 I only have this following options Hboot Fastboot Recovery Factory reset Simlock Check smartsd Image crc Show barcode And if i go in fastboot Hboot Ramdump Reboot Reboot fastboot Power down If i press reboot the phone will restart and will work but i won't have the 3 buttons to navigate in the phone available on the down side of the screen , i won't be able to go back in previous menu if i sekect a option. Most of the time when i plug it in it is on and then in middle of the night it turns off and in the morning it just shows the battery . but the phone is off which means any alarm i set wont go off and it is only recent that this has been happening. |
question about my Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Yahoo mail app Posted: 20 Nov 2016 12:55 PM PST Hi, I was hoping someone can answer this question, I have a samsung galaxy s7, and just now I downloaded the yahoo mail app from the play store, so I was going to send someone a photo I have saved on my phone, I click for attachments, and I see a whole bunch of photos I had deleted off my acer tablet months ago. how would I go by deleting all these old photos? |
Posted: 20 Nov 2016 12:50 PM PST So my phone died and when I plugged it into the charger, it doesn't vibrate as it normally does or lights up to show the battery being charged. Even if it was at 0% percent, it would say so. I tried pretty much everything from switching outlets, cables, wires to taking out the battery and putting it back in, and other little battery methods- nothing is working. What do I do? |
Posted: 20 Nov 2016 12:49 PM PST Moto X 2014. Had problems restarting, would freeze up for like 12-15 hours on restart. I was told to wipe the cache partition. I did that and it seems to have fixed that problem, but now it has a really noticeable lag, and it seems like the battery doesn't want to charge. Any ideas as to what the problem could be? My contract obligation is up next month, may be time to move on to something else? |

I have RCS working on mine, and I was trying to get it working on another device so I could use it, but the other device never brings up the option to use the advanced settings of RCS. Does anyone know how to prompt the option in the app or enable it manually? And if you use it, how is it for you? |
Posted: 20 Nov 2016 12:31 PM PST My samsung s5 (SM-G900F) will not take any charge. This happened yesterday I think. I put it to charge before going to bed, and when I woke up, it had only 7% power. When I put the charger in, It only gets to a screen which shows a battery with a thunderbolt on it, as if indicating it needs to be charged. This screen does not appear if I just press the powerbutton. Here is a video of how it behaves: www . youtube . com/watch?v=Tp1hO7OImFQ I cant figure out what is going on, it is as if its recieving minimal amounts of power, enough to make it light up, but not enough to actually charge. Things I have tried : -Lifting the chargeplate inside the usb port on the phone -Pressured air to remove any lint -Using my friends charger -Charging from the Computer -Charging from the socket -Removing the microSD card I would try another battery, but I dont have another, and I dont want to buy one just to test... Any suggestions and help would be greatly appericiated. |
Transfer Google Play Music to new phone (downloaded music) Posted: 20 Nov 2016 12:25 PM PST Hi Everyone, I am planning on buying a new phone within the next week, going from an S5 to Honor 8. I have a subscription to Google Play music which I use to download music to my SD card to listen to without using data when I am away from home. My question is that when I get the new phone and and move the SD card, will the downloaded music be readable by the new phone? I would be signing in with the same account but I am not sure if the new phone will recognize the music that was downloaded on the old phone. I have a lot of music downloaded and not looking forward to having to start over. Has anyone done this before? Thanks, Bill |
